A huge congratulation to Sam (S5) who was awarded our Junior Dux for 2022/23 due to his exceptional performance in his SQA exams. Sam scored 100% in his National 5 French, History, Maths, Modern Studies exams.👏🏼🏆
Well done to all of the S3 pupils who participated in the inflatable course yesterday. Over £2000 was raised for charity Meningitis Now in memory of Kyle Bremner.
One of our ex pupils is making a huge splash in the world of musical theatre. Stephen Allan is starring in the musical CATS at the Ronacher theatre, Vienna, playing the role of Mr Mistoffelees! He has also recently won “Best Supporting Actor” for the Broadway World awards!

Today we saw our S6 leave Williamwood for the very last time. They have been outstanding ambassadors for the williamwood community displaying respect, ambition and kindness throughout. They will be sorely missed by all and have a very bright future ahead.

Congratulations to Erin (S4) who took part in the British Youth Track Cycling Championships. She won the Points Race becoming British Champion and also won silver in the 2K individual pursuit (setting a new Scottish record in the process) and bronze in the scratch race. 👏
F&TT department have joined a national group of nearly 1000 volunteer home sewers who are making scrubs and scrub bags and delivering them to healthcare workers across Scotland. Our department are currently making scrub bags in their spare time. More info on the school website.

The school organised a sponsored walk to raise money for our partnership with Malawi, with S1 and S2 pupils taking part in a 5 mile trek around the local area. An amazing total of £10796 was raised and will go towards the refurbishment of classrooms at Emanzinyeni Primary School.
