It feels strange to post this. In June, Miss Currie’s class 4 sent cards to the Queen to say congratulations for her Jubilee. Today, we got a reply from her lady in waiting.Our cards were sent to The Queen in Balmoral from Buckingham Palace. I hope that we made the Queen smile.

The Year 4s had a fantastic first day of their residential yesterday. There were lots of smiling faces during the first activities and it's brilliant to see so much teamwork and encouragement. We're all loaded up with breakfast now and looking forward to a day in the sunshine!

In Year 4 we have been learning about the NHS in our Medicine topic. We heard @NWAngliaFT 's plea for Christmas cards and decided we had to help. So we have delivered 90 handmade cards for those in hospital over Christmas from all the children at William Law CE Primary School.

It's always a lottery but unfortunately we didn't have the winning ticket today. The children did such a fantastic job at the YDP Primary Schools Football Cup. The team didn't lose a single game but had to bow out in the semi-finals on penalties. We are so proud of the team!
