I never do this on here but I am furious with @Uber . I ordered a car for a trans friend because her phone was dead. The driver kicked her out because she’s trans and then spun a sexual harassment story to cover himself. I am now banned for life.

. @UMich has decided to charge students for STI tests as a revenue-generating scheme. Students will need to either pay out of pocket (barrier), buy their own insurance (barrier) or have their private insurance billed, which would show up to parents (barrier). This is unacceptable.

Still thinking about @mwkraus 's plenary talk at #SPSP2024 about perceptions of "bias" among scholars of color. Positivist psychology views being "detached" as the goal, but what does it mean to be "detached" from mass incarceration? From poverty?

Just taught my Research Methods students that they shouldn't look at the article they're trying to paraphrase as they're writing, because plagiarism is just too easy that way. I called it the Bird Box Method and they laughed. That means I'm still with the times right?!?
