Today WPD responded to a residential burglary call. The elderly resident couldn’t get someone out to repair her door until tomorrow. Sgt. Webb and Officer Farro didn’t want to leave her house unsecured overnight so they put on their handyman hats and secured her door for her.

Sgt Webb saw this adorable pup running in the street in the area of Beach and Westminster. He was detained after a fairly long foot pursuit throughout the area. He is now at WAGS where he will no doubt enjoy a refreshing bowl of ice water before his long nap. #runforrestrun

🚨 This past Saturday, Officers stopped a vehicle for CVC violations near Bushard/Hazard. Driver was a convicted felon, documented gang member, + on active probation. He had a loaded firearm on him + a large amount of cash. He was arrested for weapons charges + parole violation.
