I found out yesterday that a tenant of mine has 15 active evictions in court. Yes, she has 15 different apartments around the state that have filed evictions on her. FML

@JabariBrisport According to the IRS, NY citizens who moved from NY to FL took over $20B of annual income with them. And that's just to Florida.

"Existing rent-stabilized units are going off the market as they turn vacant because landlords can’t afford to bring them up to code." The new laws are crazy. I own a vacant 3-bed. The law says that I can only rent it for $500/month. The previous tenant lived there for 80 yrs.

@nick_garber She is not fit for office. We have a housing crisis. We need more apartments. That location on 145th is a perfect fit for more units.

@NYPostOpinion Moderate Dem here. Zeldin has my vote. Hochul's association with the far left Socialists is unforgivable.

@The_Jerf nope... I'll never get the money back. After I spend the $150k the unit is still rent stabilized. This means that the expenses for that unit will grow faster than the rent increases. Under the current laws, I will never break even on this... Never.

@GovKathyHochul Our economy is nearly the worst in the country. High taxes, ridiculous regulations, unfair courts, skyrocketing crime etc... why would anyone want to start a company here or expand their current one. NY is no longer competitive.

How is it reasonable for a judge to give a person who hasn't paid a dime of rent for 3 years more time to come up with the rent? How housing courts are broken.

Note. If rented at $500/m it will be rent stabilized. The costs to run the unit (property taxes, repairs etc) is $1,400 5% inflation means the $1,400 will be $1,470 next yr So, the RGB will need to give me a 14% increase to break even. The most they've ever given is 4.5%

@JabariBrisport We all know the reason Ds are losing is that the party has moved too far left. I voted R for the 1st time because of the move left.

Hochul gave Micron $611k per job. No Dems care. Amazon was coming to Queens and was going to get $120k per job (and Amazons jobs pay more). Dems freak out. Hochul is the worst. I can't wait to vote her out. via @nypost

New poll from Emerson is not good. Hochul by 8 points. Zeldin backers must organize. We must explain to our contacts why Zeldin is the obvious choice. I've never organized like this before and I've been really surprised how many people weren't planning to vote. Zelding can win!
