Daughter doing WW2 at school atm and we’re having Sunday lunch with her 98 year old great grandad who flew Lancaster bombers. She’s preparing Q’s for him! This is very special and poignant as there won’t be many kids with this opportunity in a few years to come 😢

Today, I have officially bought my own house and ordered my own car. I am 💯 independent 🥳🥳🥰🥰 I know a lot was said over the 7% pay rise, but I was originally turned down for my mortgage and this made the difference. I couldn’t be happier!!!!

Just intervened where a man was being aggressive to 2 security officers, he had a large bottle so felt I should step in. Either a female presence or the warrant card but the mans behaviour changed instantly. Handed me the bottle.Glad it didn’t end in a roll around,I’m in a dress!

A friend of the family gave a statement to police this week. It took her 4.5 hours to recount past events. She said that the police officer was tearful at the sadness of it all. She’ll never forget the empathy & kindness shown by that officer #everycontactleavesatrace

When I was young in service I was assaulted on duty after chasing a burglar into a front garden. At court, 6 officers gave evidence. After giving evidence, they all sat at the back of the court to support me. They looked so smart. Just had that memory flash! #Team #policefamily

We regularly ‘test’ licensed premises to ensure they know what to do when someone ‘asks for Angela.’ Really useful to have a male officer testing too, because the campaign isn’t gender specific. A couple ‘failed’ and have been asked to attend our next session later this month

I remember rocking a hysterical baby to sleep at 3am. Both parents were unavoidably arrested. I took her to the dark canteen area & rocked her until she finally fell asleep. I often think what happened to her. 9 & I have just agreed to be emergency Forster Carers when we can 💕

Last week a man in my church congregation was charged with rape (under 13) and x5 accounts of sexual assault (under 13) he was also a childminder and helped in our crèche. 🤯 My half sister was murdered by her boyf a few years ago…. so yea, let’s keep putting our all into #VAWG

Had a bloody tough day yesterday but had a really supportive call from my Supt and today was a million times better - sometimes you just need to accept that every now and again the ☔️ will pour but the ☀️ comes out in the end - #london is looking beautifullllll 😍

I do believe this, NOT because I abuse my powers but because no one will ever like being policed, complaints are inevitable. I had one last year from a man who said I ripped his head dress off on arrest. He was drunk. In fact, it came off whilst I was giving him first aid👇🙄🤦‍♀️

Was on my own in a taxi queue late last night & 3 ‘undesirables’ started up, ‘alright darlin, you can get in a taxi with us love’ type of behaviour. A man in the front of the queue caught my eye & said ‘we’re going to the same place, jump in.’ I’d never met him 💙 #bystanders

Questioned by police for 20 mins just now for having a ticket for my train journey back to London. Yep, 4 police officers for 20 minutes to establish whether my ticket (which I had bought via Trainline and showed them) was valid. Meantime, seven homes in Britain were burgled.

As someone who is still getting paid, I’ve just continued my gym membership despite it now being closed. I think if we’re still lucky enough to have a salary, where we can we need to continue payments to businesses... I’m not preaching but one to think on... 🌈 #TogetherWeCan
