So, the Ultra-Weathergami is not quite as rare as I suspected. In the last 30 years, we've averaged 3.66/year. However, there is a downward trend since the early 20th century. Of the standing 698 Ultra-Weathergamis, Fairbanks, AK and Death Valley, CA account for 286 (~41%).
