Actually...on average a football athlete will spend 55hrs/wk on the sport (film, lifting, meetings, practice, etc.) for an average of 350 days/year. That's 19,250 hours. If you divide the tuition by the number of hours worked the total comes to approximately $2.30/hour.

There are roughly 1.7 million academic scholarships given/year. Conversely, roughly 180,000 athletic scholarships given/year in D1 & D2. That means the majority of kids have a better chance of earning an academic scholarship than athletic. Something to think about.

@mominacube was diagnosed w/a benign meningioma (type of brain tumor) ~ 6 weeks ago. Today she underwent Gamma Knife Radiation to shrink it. It was kinda brutal but it’s done & she’s home. She’ll be monitored closely for the next year to make sure it behaves & leaves her alone.
