Laurence Maguire gets Chesterfield FC he always has. Always signed new deals that were put to him, always been professional when not playing. However, the one thing I’ll always remember, is seeing him in tears after Forest Green away, when the club was relegated. A proper blue

I’m told negotiations are now ongoing for the transfer of Kabongo Tshimanga between #Spireites and #BCFC . The club ideally do not want to sell but have a price. The player is more than happy after the support he received during his injury but has aspirations of playing higher.

There’s something heartwarming about this picture. When Cook arrived back at the club again, one of the key takeaways was he has been unhappy for last 18 months in football, and wanted to be back at a club he felt loved at, and one he enjoyed being at. Great to see #Spireites

My best Danny Rowe memory is yesterday. Not one you’d expect. Khan kept getting his ankles clipped by one of Halifax’s midfielders, the last time he did it, Rowe came from behind him and hit him with a right tackle back. Proper teammate. He’ll be back 💙

One year ago I was at Sheffield College learning the NCTJ qualification, begging for my first chance. Today I spent 3 hours at the House of Commons talking and mingling with industry professionals. Not bad for a 19-year-old from Chesterfield.
