It's a beautiful start this morning over Uptown, but it is cold! You'll have to deal with some thick frost on the windshields as well. I'm tracking the warm-up that is heading our way through the end of the year now on Channel 9 through 8 am.

at 5 am hasn't changed much heading into the coast, BUT, the tail end of the track has shifted south. The storm may hug the coastline longer, delaying the onset of the rain and wind here until later Saturday.
The rain/mix/snow line is slowly creeping northward into Charlotte. We have already switched back to rain at the studios. This line will waffling north and south through the morning.
