@daydreamer_mum
Mine just started year 11 too. I would be livid if that happened to her. It's bad enough my nephew has been put off childcare because the class was all girls.
I've worked my socks off for this. Paired with curried goat from the food van. We don't even have beds made up for tonight yet, but I truly don't care right now, I'd sleep on the floor.
I want to thank
@Childrens_Trust
today for the many years they looked after my friend's daughter. She was brain damaged from birth and wasn't supposed to live past her first year. She died yesterday at the age of 22. She lived a happy, smiley life and who could wish for more?
For anyone I haven't bragged to...

Eldest has just been notified that in September she will be awarded
@reigatebanstead
Mayor's Young Volunteer of the year
I've done it, I've finally hit my weight target. Its taken me over 3 years but I'm finally at the target I set of being right in the middle of the NHS healthy weight range for my height. 😊 Must be all that heavy blood I was carrying!🤣
I'm not big on presents or fuss but I'm truly touched by all the well wishes today and people who have gone out of their way to organise treats for little ol' me. Shout outs to my running crew for yesterdays brunch and my youngest for managing this with all my bakeware boxed up!
Exceedingly proud of Mr Vix this week who has really turned a corner. He ran his first sub 28 minute 5k post heart attacks on Thursday (I struggle in just behind him!) and this morning ran his first 10k with me.
I have wanted to run home from work since I trained for my first half marathon 6 years ago. Tonight I finally did it. Made me very happy to accomplish this . 😊
Good news tweeps/xers, we have a complete chain and house sales agreed! Bad news, we've spent over 2 hours on solicitors documents so far this evening and have splitting headaches.
Nice solo 7 miles this am on one of my favorite routes and spotted the peregrine
@StJohnsRedhill
so as soon as I got back I grabbed the camera and dashed back.
This morning I was called fit by a fellow runner. As someone who was never into PE or sport I spent 40 years unfit. I can't tell you how good that comment made me feel 🥰
Can I have lots of positive thoughts please. My dad has his first visit for daycare and has already said he doesn't want to go three time this morning. Proud of mum for insisting. Praying he likes it to give her a break 🙏

Youngest is really struggling at the moment with mocks on the horizon and health issues. After a bit of a sob this evening we've been out to get her pudding supplies to go with ice cream... everything can be saved with chocolate right?!
Had a brilliant day yesterday, massive thanks to everyone who supported, it really meant the world. Pleased to say due to merely coaching instead of going for my own pb, I'm not even sore today. My fave before & after pics. Thank you photographers

My brother in law during his pandemic boredom decided to make Mr Vix a chess set. Starting with ingots and casting and refining the figures himself. These are the French and British armies of the battle of Waterloo.
Finally some brilliant news in this sh*tty week. My friends daughter's leukemia is in remission. Feeling so relieved for her tonight, off to have a little sob!
So proud of my mum who completed her 100th parkrun today. Next week my sister will do her 100th. So glad I introduced them to parkrun and that they love it almost as much as I do. Massive congrats also to my friend
@clappy74
for being
@tilgateparkrun
parkrunner of the month.
Dads cremation was today, direct, as he wished. As there was nothing to attend my sister, nieces and mum celebrated with kite flying and ice creams. He would have approved. Going to buy ice cream...
A massive, massive thank you to everyone who has supported me and Mr Vix. Asking me how training is going, sending messages before the event, cheering us on and being there today. Too many to mention. Feeling a tad emosh at how brilliant you all are.
I'm becoming a bit obsessed with the town I work in. But who couldn't when you round a corner down one of the many footpaths to a view like this?

These are 4 of my favourite evenings from last year and very much what I need more of right now. Looking forward to rule of 6 coming back and drinking with my buddies again. Quietly rocking in a corner till then!
A year ago today my friend
@sospainter
ran his 50th parkrun (see photo). I may have dragged him to his first! Yesterday, he ran his 100th, and today his 101st. Of all the people I've introduced to parkrun Paul is my fave. His enthusiasm is infectious.

In better news, this morning I completed my 299th parkrun
@tilgateparkrun
and am all set tomorrow to run my first Christmas Day parkrun for my 300th run
@reigateparkrun
. Hoping my family will come and cheer me on.
For those following Mr Vix's progress tomorrow is a big day, we are hoping his Cardio rehab team will say he can drive again and start a phased return to work next week. Finger a crossed please 🤞🤞🤞
Got a tip off that there are Kingfishers at Riverside so popped down to see if we could see them. And for the first time in my life I did! Spotted this baby hiding first, then saw the parent out collecting food. Amazing.
Feeling somewhat ground down by lifes trials tonight so grounding myself in the beautiful sunset. There's a new chapter due to start, juts hoping its a good one.
Big week for eldest, after having her first interview last week (selected from 3000 applicants) she has made it to round two and will have to do a presentation at their office on some data this week... oh and graduation too!
7 hours in Priory park volunteering
@runreigate
and once again I loved it. Wish I had added a 5th layer of clothing. 4 was just not enough in that biting wind! Now defrosting with a cup of tea.
Absolutely brilliant getting so many of my friends
@Brooklandspark1
this morning. Most of these people I've met online over the years and some have been great friends for 22 years now.
I find myself in the unnerving position of pinning my hopes on Bojo's speech on Monday. For me, this lockdown has been the toughest and whilst I know we need to exit at snail's page it can't come soon enough.
#imisseverything
My dad is booked for for vaccination tomorrow. So happy. He has never been recognised as at risk despite having compromised immunity. Nothing for my mum yet who is claiming she is "far too young!" 🤣 (70)
Mass deletion just occured. You don't want to follow me why should i bother? Course if you can see this you follow me so give a 👊. I'll make sure i'm following you back 😊
Life is too short for boring, back breaking sh*t. I've just booked an evening of musicals and fireworks/drones at
@LoseleyPark
for me & someone who will appreciate it.❤️

Mr Vix is regretting his life choices marrying me right now. I'm making him go for a run with me, after which we will be stopping at a shop for bread and bacon. Personally I think this is my best plan of the weekend, he isn't so sure.
