@daydreamer_mum Mine just started year 11 too. I would be livid if that happened to her. It's bad enough my nephew has been put off childcare because the class was all girls.

I want to thank @Childrens_Trust today for the many years they looked after my friend's daughter. She was brain damaged from birth and wasn't supposed to live past her first year. She died yesterday at the age of 22. She lived a happy, smiley life and who could wish for more?

I've done it, I've finally hit my weight target. Its taken me over 3 years but I'm finally at the target I set of being right in the middle of the NHS healthy weight range for my height. 😊 Must be all that heavy blood I was carrying!🤣

Exceedingly proud of Mr Vix this week who has really turned a corner. He ran his first sub 28 minute 5k post heart attacks on Thursday (I struggle in just behind him!) and this morning ran his first 10k with me.

Youngest is really struggling at the moment with mocks on the horizon and health issues. After a bit of a sob this evening we've been out to get her pudding supplies to go with ice cream... everything can be saved with chocolate right?!

So proud of my mum who completed her 100th parkrun today. Next week my sister will do her 100th. So glad I introduced them to parkrun and that they love it almost as much as I do. Massive congrats also to my friend @clappy74 for being @tilgateparkrun parkrunner of the month.

A year ago today my friend @sospainter ran his 50th parkrun (see photo). I may have dragged him to his first! Yesterday, he ran his 100th, and today his 101st. Of all the people I've introduced to parkrun Paul is my fave. His enthusiasm is infectious. #soproud

Got a tip off that there are Kingfishers at Riverside so popped down to see if we could see them. And for the first time in my life I did! Spotted this baby hiding first, then saw the parent out collecting food. Amazing.

My dad is booked for for vaccination tomorrow. So happy. He has never been recognised as at risk despite having compromised immunity. Nothing for my mum yet who is claiming she is "far too young!" 🤣 (70)
