Vitamin D3 & Magnesium Magnesium plays a important role in the metabolism of Vitamin D. The enzymes in the liver and kidneys that convert Vit D into it's active form require adequate magnesium to work. If magnesium levels are low, the body can't activate/process Vit D.

When I was 8 watching TV after school, I used to eat a super-sized bag of nacho Doritos three days a week. I didn't realize it at the time, but I was stress eating from being bullied at school. This was the beginning of the downward spiral which led to my autoimmune disorder.

Reducing inflammation within is key to overcoming autoimmune disorders. I've experienced a lot of benefits from taking Omega 3's for inflammation. I used to take fish oil with good results but now I take pressed organic flax seed oil. Are you taking an Omega 3 supplement?
