Went to an open house today. Was extremely pissed with the men in the house. They are just sitting outside on a table with beers and playing cards while the women had to cook, clean and serve them. One of them had the audacity to scream at the wife because the son was crying.

I as a Hindu have attended many corporate event & social event where I don’t have much options because most of the food served has beef in it. I adjusted myself and ate what I could eat and leave silently rather than creating a scene.

I was so pissed that I dint even eat and just left after few minutes. At my home, men or women everybody treated equally. During festive season or any functions all of us would work together. Be it cooking,cleaning or any house chores.We treat the women in our family with dignity
