Here are some shots from our last airshow in Tyler, TX. We have the week off to practice and enjoy our time at home before heading to Fargo, ND. Hope to see you all on the road this year.

After 22 training flights and more than 45 hours of study, Maj. Garret "Toro" Schmitz has completed his 4th certification and earned the privilege of leading us as we inspire the next generation of pilots, maintainers and Airmen!

A few days ago, we posted pics of vapor covering the jet during a demo for the
@20thFSS
flight line 5K.
Here's a clip of what that vapor looks like when you watch it from the ground!
(Shout out to the team's own TSgt Wilson for capturing this footage!)
The team had some unique visitors last week! Defenders and military working dogs assigned to the 20th Security Forces Squadron caught a demonstration then spent some time with us. Hopefully we can catch one of their demonstrations next time...
@20FighterWing
@usairforce
Not only did the F-16 Viper Demonstration Team perform twice today, but we also led a swear-in for future Airmen and wingmen!
I call that a successful day. 😎
The whole gang is scheduled to be together again in less than 2 weeks!
We can't wait to see everyone at the 2019 Heritage Flight Training Course, but we may be seeing a few friends a little sooner than the others....
Stay tuned to see who joins us at Shaw AFB!
Our freedoms aren’t free. This weekend we remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Yesterday, we had the honor of helping pay tribute to all service members past and present.
Gone, but never forgotten. 🇺🇸

The F-16
#ViperDemoTeam
is ready to show you what they can do at NAS Jacksonville!
Who had the opportunity to watch Maj. John "Rain" Waters during yesterday's practice? If you didn't, join us when the show gates open today!
The first air show of the F-16 Viper Demonstration Team's 2019 season is less than two months away!
Where will we see you this year?

Keep your eyes up Miami! Our jets are scheduled to be buzzing around your air space this afternoon! Here's what you have to look forward to this weekend!
With help from
@MacDill_AFB
, the team's F-16s arrived in St. Joseph, Missouri, yesterday in time to let high school students check out what the team’s all about. We hope they come back during the
@SOSairshow
this weekend to see the Viper in action!

After careful consideration, the F-16 Viper Demo Team has cancelled their
@NASKeyWest
Southernmost Air Spectacular demos scheduled for March 30th and 31st.
Maj. John Waters, team commander and pilot, would like to share a message about the cancellation.
@A10DemoTeam
The final day of the
@StuartAirShow
marked the team's last U.S. demonstration for the 2018 season and it was a finale to remember thanks to Martin County Fire Rescue, family members and friends!
What's next for the team? The

Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family of Maj. Stephen Del Bagno, the Air Force is a close-knit family and the loss of one of our own affects us all.
When speaking to individuals about what a "Viper" pilot sees and feels, Viper Demo Team maintainers can tap into their own experiences to be as informative as possible.
During the off season, team members get to "ride the Rain pain train" in an F-16D Fighting Falcon!
We had a blast at
@AirshowLondon
in London, Ontario, but now the team is packed up and ready for the National Championship Air Races and Air Show in Reno, Nevada!
@RenoAirRaces
The team's 2018 season officially concluded with a final demonstration over the
@BahAirshow
, Nov. 16.
Over the coming weeks, team members will do their part to ensure a smooth transition into the 2019 season by helping new wingmen learn the tricks of the trade.
Schmitz is scheduled to perform at nearly 40 air shows in the next two years as the F-16 Viper Demo Team's newest commander and pilot.
His first public performance is only one week away at the Westmoreland County Air Show in Latrobe, PA.

The super bowl is only a few hours away!
The team may not be participating in this year's fly over, but at least they can enjoy much warmer weather than last year's team did...
