It has been 33 years since Trailblazers were in national title game! VU plays Ranger on national television for the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship Saturday at 2 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
Todd Franklin and Lony Francis Jr. represented VU in NJCAA Men's Basketball Coaches All-Star Game presented by the NABC in Las Vegas today. Franklin coached the Division I all-star team to a 126-98 win. Francis had 18 points and 11 rebounds. He also won the sportsmanship award.
For the 9th year in a row (a new NJCAA record) and 36th time in school history (already an NJCAA record) we are going dancing.
Vincennes men's basketball is the No. 15 seed and will take on No. 18 Holmes in Hutchinson, Kansas Monday, April 19 at 3 p.m. eastern.

VU BSB Final - The Vincennes University baseball team picks up a big win at Jerry Blemker Field, winning over Lincoln Trail College 7-6.
VU scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 7th and picked up the win on a 2 RBI walk-off double by Kobe Bartlett.
Another banner update, this past season women’s basketball coach Harry Meeks became the 9th coach or contributor from VU to be inducted into the NJCAA Hall of Fame. Coach Meeks enters his 30th season coaching the Blazers just 9 wins away from 700.
Welcome new Blazer track & field signee Jahod Fair of Ben Davis High School! Jahod is a 40.1 seconds 300-meter hurdler and a member of the state-qualifying boys' 4x400m relay.

Only two colleges were founded by U.S. Presidents - and both hold 2019 national basketball titles. William Henry Harrison founded Vincennes University in 1801. Thomas Jefferson founded the University of Virginia in 1819. VU won the NJCAA Championship. Virginia won the NCAA title.
Final - Trailblazers advance to the next round after knocking off host Heartland 3-2. Connor VanLannen pitched 4 innings of scoreless ball in relief to pick up the win. Vincennes will take on the loser of Danville vs. Lincoln Land tomorrow at 5 p.m. eastern.
Final from Vincennes University, No. 6 VU Trailblazers win over Kankakee 75-65. Brandon Muntu finished with a game-high 23 points, Justin Archer finished with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Christian Wells came off the bench to bring in 15 points and 9 rebounds.
