In a rare instance of good news, the UK has abolished its ridiculous 20% tax on ebooks. With the reading tax gone, we're in the process of lowering all our UK ebook prices on Kindle. We hope this makes them more affordable & accessible to those who need good quarantine reading!

Yesterday we tweeted that @AmazonKDP is censoring our books again. We asked what, specifically, they objected to in the book (a 50-year-old British horror novel). Their response: "We're not going to tell you." @Amazon 's dominance in the book market is a danger to free speech.

So this is slightly weird. On the way to see the Glenn Miller Orchestra in Roanoke, we stopped at a junk store and found an old copy of Ambrose Bierce’s CAN SUCH THINGS BE? for $8. Not super valuable, but not something you see everyday either. (1/2)
