@IamShajanSamuel 1. Sleep at 10.30 & wake up at 5.45 2. 3 meals a day and can't leave snacking or sugar 🙂 3. RHR is 45 4. Run 3, body weight workouts 5-6, weight training 3-4 days a week 5. Watch TV if kids & wife leave it for me 😃 6. Climb stairs if weather is good This is me at 48 😎

Push ups are convenient compound exercise for upper body strength which can done anywhere even if you are not going to gym. Don't let your arms flare, keep the core tight and then do complete controlled movement.

I am not a qualified trainer or doctor, yet I know that early morning workouts in park bring positivity into your body. Spending some time on grass, around trees and with Sun rising in background - accompanied by bouts of laughter among friends - is always rejuvenating.

Runs make us happy whereas PB runs make us happier 😀 Ran my first 400 mts at pace of Sub 3 - 400 mts in 1 min 12 secs @2 .58 is the fastest 400 mts I have run in my 48 yrs 💪

Pyramid Run - increase your pace slowly till u reach the target pace, then stay on target pace for 3-4 mins and then decrease the pace slowly. This will help you train to run at target pace

#Digiyatra is so seamless interface. Just update eKYC, face scan and boarding pass. Special gates at Airport entry and security clearance where they scan your face and let u in. After 30 mins starting from home with only cabin baggage, I am sitting at boarding gate

Absolutely true - Running at pace of 5.30 was a dream which is now warm up whereas pace of 5 seemed impossible is now cool down pace.

Intervals - it's an efficient & effective way to improve your aerobic and anaerobic fitness, as well as the cardiovascular health. It involves periods of high intensity running alternated with jogging/walking or rest. Don't forget to warm up before and cool down afterwards

Was not running for long due to high AQI, so did back to back runs on treadmill in last 10 days of 2023. But its not good to emulate this. Our body only needs 150 mins of cardio per week for cardio-vascular fitness. By overdoing cardio we burn less fat but lose more muscles.

@nithinnithu_m @runkarthikrun @pgodhani @sanjaypanghal @ParimalRd @suneelkoyi @sujitprakashjha I started running at age of 38 in 2013 and my best performance was in March 2020, a month before Covid lockdown, when I did a FM in 3.07 and on next Sunday did a HM in 1.27 😊 Thereafter I have kept the mileage low and only participated in 5k or 10k races.

Intervals are totally killer workouts. After every repetition it feels like death. But what doesn't kill, makes u stronger 💪 The worst affected is fat and while doing intervals, fat can be seen crying in form of sweat 🙂

@runliftrunlift Yes totally agree with u. I also learnt that - 1. Pain is temporary, with the finish line comes happiness which overtakes all pain 2. With consistency & hard work one can achieve which seems impossible

Pseudo Planche push ups are good for biceps. Try adding 3-4 sets, progressive in number, of push ups in your body weight workout
