VLM News thread📢 On the 18th of Feb 2022 the VeganLandMovementCIC were successful in removing this 3rd plot of land below from Animal Agriculture grazing. Saving this land was special because it had Planning Permission for a CHICKEN UNIT for approx. 20,000 birds a year🐓

URGENT ‼️🦡 Today we met the activists who have been trying to stop the cull & the land where the badger setts are & the area we MUST remove to give them a safe haven. We sadly cannot show images as we need to keep this area a secret. We cannot stress how IMPORTANT this is ‼️

To be able to join 2 plots together & create a larger habitat of over 15 acres to protect these badger families would be wonderful + having a local activist group oversee these areas would be such a bonus. Please donate to create safe havens for life🦡

#VeganLandMovementSpeciesCounts2023 have been completed! We were amazed to see how much growth there has been since March. Many of the reeds/grasses were up to our middles & taller than us in places! We saw that so much beautiful wildlife had made the plots of land their home.🦋

In July the Vegan Land Movement volunteers carried out species surveys on the 4 plots of land removed from dairy & what we found was breath-taking! 💥 In total, an incredible 40 new animal species were seen & 18 new plant species, which were not recorded at all last year 💥

In 2022 the #VeganLandMovementCIC blocked a CHICKEN UNIT from being built by buying out the land where it had planning permission for a 20,000 bird unit 🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓😬 The VLM were up against 2 chicken farmers so we had to run a stealth campaign. A 🧵

#VeganLandMovementCIC Summary💥 Approximately 500 vegans have removed these 4 parcels of land from dairy farming. 1 of them had planning permission for a chicken unit & was destined to farm 1000s of birds This equates to 25 acres in total no longer used to farm sentient beings
