Why is the world not calling for the extradition of Hamas leadership from the countries where they live in opulence and safety, far from the carnage their orders have unleashed on Israelis and Palestinians? Let them stand trial for their crimes.

Gaza is not one of the most densely populated places on earth. It doesn’t crack the top 50. Bnei Brak, Bat Yam, Givatayim are more densely populated, but you never hear that when Hamas fires rockets at Israeli cities.

Zionism doesn’t require opposition to a Palestinian state. Anti-Zionism requires opposition to a Jewish state. Thus it is anti-Zionism, not Zionism, that perpetuates the conflict. Because neither people are going anywhere.

Judea is not a religion. Jesus was born in Judea, not Palestine (a name given to the land by Roman colonizers). Jewish is an ethnicity. A Palestinian nationality did not exist in Jesus’ time. The hate is indeed real and you have amply demonstrated that it breeds ignorance.

Palestine is not a religion. Palestinian is someone born in Palestine or a descendant of Palestinians. Palestinian is a nationality. So when someone says Jesus was born in modern day Palestine that doesn’t negate that he was a Jew. 🤦🏻‍♀️ The hate is real. It breeds ignorance.

Most Zionists support the two-state solution to the conflict — one state for Jews, one for Palestinian Arabs. Conversely, 100% of anti-Zionists (by definition) oppose the existence of a Jewish state. It’s not hard to see what keeps the conflict going.

In the MENA region, 92% of the population have either never heard of the Holocaust or believe it was made up/exaggerated/distorted.

In other words, if you want to learn about Jews, do interfaith with these Jews whose views are rejected by at least 93% of Jews. Seems reasonable.

If Muslims want to do interfaith with Jews to learn about their religion and encourage peaceful coexistence and collaboration, then I suggest that we do so with these guys - Neturei Karta, Orthodox Jews who oppose Israel

So let me get this straight, some Jewish looking people walked in your general direction and you assumed they were sex traffickers, hid in your car and locked the door and then posted this pearl-clutching BS?

Antisemitism has a built-in self-preservation mechanism whereby, if anything is ever done about it — like, say, removing an offending party from their post — this only serves to confirm the claims of antisemites about the all-powerful Jews.

Modern Hebrew was not “invented” by anyone. It was revived and modernized, certainly. And part of the reason it had to be is because it was brutally suppressed by imperial forces of cultural hegemony, including in Russia which engaged in Russification of other nations.

The Soviet “Zionism is imperialism” disinformation campaign was based on the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. They simply gave the “Jewish global domination” canard a new anti-imperialist polish.

Putin is appropriating Holocaust trauma in order to justify his invasion of democratic Ukraine. We should be outraged.

People been saying this since Israel’s founding. And yet, as I stroll the streets of Tel Aviv, see the vibrancy of its culture, the resiliency of its people, I know they will still be making these same predictions in another 75 years and Israel will still be here, thriving.

Israel is a fundamentally unsustainable project. Over the next 20 years, every one of its unsustainabilities will come to a head. Smart Israelis know it. Meanwhile the oblivious majority still think they've "won".

People whose ancestors were among the privileged who were allowed refuge in a colonized backup country now terribly upset that Jews want to be able to seek refuge in the land from which they were expelled by colonizers.

Let’s be clear: only 3% of Jews DONT support Israel. Just because you ostracize and marginalize more than 9/10 Jews, but “assume some are good people”, doesn’t exculpate you from anti-Jewish discrimination.

First of all let's be clear this isn't "Jews," its supporters of Israel. Full stop. That out of the way, I am curious @HenMazzig , should places also be safe for supporters of other repressive regimes? How about Egyptian national pride? Saudi national pride?

The reporting on the #ColleyvilleSynagogue hostage crisis has been exceedingly disappointing. Journalists and news organizations must do better. If you are reporting on antisemitism and it’s corollaries and want to do so properly, get in touch and get informed.
