: Over a 24-hour window prior to trade deadline that included owner to owner conversations, the Warriors made an unsuccessful bid to convince the Lakers and LeBron James to consider a trade to pair him with Stephen Curry.

Nah there is some logic to it. The league has expanded to have even more teams and the number of allstar spots has stayed the same. It is harder than ever to bcome an Allstar, but increasing to 15 might be too much.

In what way? Those Lakers were pretty old across the board and the Suns this year aren't that old. You can't tell me they are missing the playoffs if they are healthy.

They have to retool their roster to make me believe. With their current roster, they are a playoff team at least but not a championship team unless they trade that 2nd pick for another star like Beal.
