A maritime dish for poor people influenced by Portuguese(bacalhau). We had an abundance of salted fish, an abundance of onion potato n tomato. Most of these ingredients, especially salted fish, was sold cheap on Sundays so slavers gave it to slaves as a treat. Now, a tradition.
