I got married on Saturday!
Thanks to everyone who attended the ceremony or congratulated us by text or call! I feel so blessed to have a beautiful wife, amazing family and so many great friends!
Today - our Loudonville HS girls finished their regular season at 21-0! This is our first undefeated season since 1976 - 45 years! I am so grateful that God blessed me with this group of players, coaches and their families! In these crazy times - they persevered and made history!
My grandpa has been fighting Guillain-Barre since early September. He has been in the hospital for nearly 6 months. Tonight was the first time he left the hospital since he entered it. For him to be able to come to our game is just a miracle to me. Praise God! Thank you God!
The safest time for HS/College teams to have a winter sports season is during a school shutdown or remote learning setup from Thanksgiving until 1/11. Play as many games as possible during this time - don't wait until January and throw everyone back in contact with each other.
Finally got my main
@cavs
wall done with signed jerseys + the autographed photos and
@KingJames
and Terrell Brandon
@SInow
covers. Also put the newspapers from the 2016 championship up there! Thanks to my dad for the help and my wife for letting me have all of this stuff!
Summer basketball tells you so much about your team. As a coach - you can see who really wants to win, who wants a bigger role, who is listening to what you told them in exit meetings. As a player - you find out who you can count on, who wants to be a part of something bigger.
Praise the lord for our team! Today we won Loudonville’s first district title since 1992. I appreciate our players, coaches, their families and all of Redbird Nation. I also can’t help but think of our past players and coaches who helped build this program. Go Birds! 25-0.
Tonight didn’t play out like we wanted...
With that being said:
School record (tied with 1992 team) 25 wins - those 25 were in a row
15-0 at home in The Cage
MBC Champs
District Champs
Seniors finish with 84 wins in 4 years
I am so proud of our players and coaches!
Most HS basketball coaches never get to coach a 1000 point scorer.
Words can’t describe how blessed I am to have 3 girls reach that mark in the same season. It speaks to their work ethic and unselfish approach to the game!
Celeste, Emily and Nikki are a special trio!
Since she has no Twitter - I am proud to say that Nikki Weber will continue her basketball career at Malone U! Nikki was a 2x All-Ohioan at LHS. She missed her JR year and still finished with 1296 points, 433 rebounds, 372 assists and 389 steals! She is also class valedictorian!
This was an amazing day. My team made signs and my family got me a cake for our 100th win at Loudonville. I had so many players and friends reach out about my birthday. I got to go out to eat with my family tonight. I appreciate all of you!
My Grandpa passed away today. He was such a smart man - an engineer, inventor, etc. I am going to miss him, but I am relieved to know that he is in Heaven, back with my Grandma again.
Thanks to everyone for the kind thoughts - our family appreciates it.
Proud. Blessed. Happy. Impressed. There are so many words to describe how I am feeling right now! Our team has faced A TON of adversity. We have lost 9 letterwinners from last year. We have been blown out and have lost close games. Here we are again though - MBC Champs!
#Connect4
1 day after she had ACL surgery,
@Sydney_Snyder15
showed up to practice to support her team! She is one of the best teammates that I have ever met. She is a special person and a great friend! A true role model! I cannot wait to see her back on the court again!
Today sure didn’t go how we wanted it to. With that being said, after losing a ton of talent last year, we finished 21-5, won another league title and finished as district runner-ups. I couldn’t be more proud of our team. Go Birds!
Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2019
#OhioSummerShowcase
a success! 180 players, many of the best HS coaches in Ohio, nearly 50 college coaches in attendance, too many smiles to count. Yesterday will hold a special place in my heart for a long time! I am grateful!
I will never forget tonight’s game. It was such an electric atmosphere! Thanks to our community for showing up and being loud! Our staff and students really made us feel special tonight! I am grateful for our team and I am proud to be a Redbird!
I am really excited for Sunday! We have over 230 of our region’s top girls basketball players coming to Wooster HS for a great day of instruction and competition. Huge shout out to the tremendous HS coaches coming to work the event! It’s going to be a great day!
Thank you to the players for coming to compete at the 2022 Ohio Summer Showcase! The HS and College coaches in attendance were in awe at the amount of talent in the gym! You all should be proud for rising to the occasion at one of the deepest individual events of the summer!
It’s been far from a normal year - mentally exhausting at times. I can honestly say though that today was so much fun. I am grateful for all of our players, coaches and support staff + all of Redbird Nation.
We will get back after it tomorrow!
Coached 9 basketball games today with
@The_Blast_AAU
! Exhausted - but had so much fun working with
@sarahwenger_
and watching this group of 2023’s play. What a special mix of players - great families too! They let us coach them hard and come to compete every time we get together!
Huge shoutout to Coach Siegel and the Fort Loramie girls basketball program for donating $2000 to
#CarolineStrong
as part of the

initiative. Yes....you read that correctly.....TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! Thank you to
@FLgirlsbball
and the Redskins community!
Big win tonight for the Loudonville Lady Redbirds over a talented and well-coached Dalton team. I am really happy for our players. I am excited to practice again with our team tomorrow!
It was a great day!
165 players from 70 different high schools and 16 counties got to play in front of nearly 50 coaches from over 30 different colleges in the 2nd Annual Buckeye State Battleground!
From the bottom of my heart - thank you to everyone who made today possible!
Congratulation to
@GuilliamsShalen
for scoring her 1000th career point last night!
Shalen is a very hard worker who can absolutely shoot the lights out!
I am super proud of you and extremely happy for you!
I literally couldn’t be more proud of these 6 young women. Not only are they BALLERS, but also high-level students and top-notch citizens.
Every time I step in The Cage, I miss having them there with us - but I see their impact everywhere in our program.
Have a great winter!
Carla Siegel from Fort Loramie will be working the
#OhioSummerShowcase
on July 28th at the College of Wooster! She won state titles in ‘13 and ‘15 and was runner-up in ‘11. She has been an OHSBCA COY and is a past recipient of the OHSAA Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity Award!
I had a ton of fun at the All-Star game tonight with my dad! Definitely a bucket list experience. It was truly amazing to see the top 75 players recognized - something I’ll never forget!
Huge 46-35 season-opening win for our girls tonight on the road against a well-coached Lexington team that won the Ohio Cardinal Conference a year ago! Proud to be a Redbird! Go Birds!
It’s been a long/expensive summer for so many hoopers - so we do our best at the Ohio Summer Showcase to take care of you.
FREE ADMISSION for all spectators.
FREE PARKING.
FREE PACKETS for college coaches.
FREE SNACK BAGS for participants.
FREE LUNCH for coaches and staff.
I am really excited for Sunday! We have over 230 of our region’s top girls basketball players coming to Wooster HS for a great day of instruction and competition. Huge shout out to the tremendous HS coaches coming to work the event! It’s going to be a great day!
I am probably the most blessed basketball coach in Ohio. I wouldn’t trade these girls for anything. Not only did they totally surprise me today by singing happy birthday when I came out of the locker room - they got me an awesome pullover and brought us all cupcakes. Go Birds!
The 2021 Buckeye State Battleground was a huge success!
The HS coaches who organized/coached teams, the outstanding athletes who played so hard, the college coaches in attendance, the event staff, media covering the day and everyone at the College of Wooster - THANK YOU!
Lots of work being done to The Cage this summer! We have new lights, a new paint job and a new floor! We will be getting new bleachers, as well! I can’t wait to see it rocking again - one of the best small school girls basketball environments in Ohio! Go Birds!
My Grandpa is hospitalized with Guillain Barre - can’t talk/can’t move.
We told him it’s Sweetest Day and asked if he remembers always giving Grandma flowers. He nodded yes. We asked if he wants us to put flowers on her grave today from him - he nodded yes and smiled.
🙏❤️🙂
Thanks to the OHSBCA for this award. To be considered for this, with so many great coaches in OH - means a lot to me. We had a special group of players and parents this year that made this possible. I also had an amazing group of assistant coaches and a super supportive family!
Congrats to
@CorriVermilya
for being named a 1st-Team Academic All-American by the National HS Coaches! 100 kids were named 1st-Team and Corri is the only Ohioan.
She is
#1
in her class academically, earned 1st-Team All-OH in basketball and was a 2-event state qualifier in T+F.
ANNOUNCEMENT!
Summer of ‘21 - working with many of Ohio’s great HS coaches, we will hold the 1st ever Buckeye State Battleground!
This is a 1-of-a-kind exposure event pitting county vs county, as each area of Ohio plays for Buckeye State bragging rights!
Details coming...
It was a great night - I am so proud of our players and coaches - everyone involved with our program! MBC Champs! First team in school history to go undefeated in the MBC! First team in Ashland County history to win 20 games in back-to-back seasons! Go Birds!
There are too many HS coaches that sabotage the recruiting of their own players, because of silly politics.
They would rather have a different girl on their team get recruited by that school or they are upset they aren’t the main point person for that recruit.
Horrible.
HUGE congratulations to my 3 seniors - Annie Seboe, Emily Seboe and Kacie Hunter!
After our win tonight - they are now the winningest class in Loudonville High School and Ashland County history!
I am proud of these girls and all of the girls who played with them along the way!
As a sophomore in 2016-2017, Nikki Weber averaged 26.6 PPG, 5.9 RPG 6.6 APG and 6.1 SPG.
She tore her ACL last year on 11/7 and had surgery on 11/21.
She was a model teammate/friend last season.
Today on 10/8/2018 she got cleared. Here’s to a healthy senior season for Nikki!
Tough ending 2nite for our team. We finished with 17 W’s. I am proud of how we battled adversity and kept improving. I will miss our seniors - they finish with 79 career W’s, the most for a class at LHS. Our underclassmen have a lot of potential. I am excited to see what’s next.
I am proud of our girls for winning another Mid-Buckeye Conference championship! Our young team has faced some adversity this year in the form of injuries - but we have never stopped competing! Cutting down the nets never gets old!
Go Birds!
Shoutout to my dad for getting up early this morning and putting six hours of cleaning and maintenance work in so that we have a new equipment closet. He has painted our gym, bought the JR High teams new uniforms, done a ton of fundraising - so many other things for our program.
We are 1 week away from 310 players competing in the
#OhioSummerShowcase
at the College of Wooster!
Check-in for the morning starts at 7:30 for 24/25/26s. Skills at 9:10 and games at 10:00.
Check-in for the evening starts at 1:00 for 22/23s. Skills at 2:40 and games at 3:30.
PSA:
If you are going to officiate AAU basketball games - you have to move. You can’t stand in the backcourt at the foul line and WALK 5 steps back and forth.
Yes - parents are going to be mad at you when you are making/missing calls 80 feet from the basket.
Congratulations to
@AnnieSeboe
and
@EmilySeboe
for officially joining the
@HUWBB
family today! Thank you to Coach
@loriculler
for making the trip to Loudonville for the special day!
I am super grateful for these girls and the entire Seboe family! They are outstanding people!
I am PUMPED for the 2nd Annual Buckeye State Battleground at the College of Wooster tomorrow (Friday, July 1st)!
It’s a loaded group of kids with some excellent coaches!
This is a great way to start off a busy month of July!
We are underway in the morning session of the Ohio Summer Showcase! 95 kids from the 2025/2026/2027 classes are working on shooting, ball-handling and finishing with some of the state’s top coaches!
Too many coaches pick apart players and try to find things that they can’t do at an elite level.
I promise coaches - it’s okay to appreciate the many things that they do well!
A good coach can find a spot for a player who does a lot of things really well.
Congratulations to Player of the Game selections from the
#OhioSummerShowcase
!
Evening Session - Round 2:
Karli Anker - Akron Manchester
Kelsey Ragan - Anthony Wayne
Lexi Howe - Tri Valley
Corina Conley - Franklin Monroe
Happy Anniversary to my beautiful wife! I cannot believe how lucky and blessed I am to be taking on life with Whitney. She is smart, caring, hard-working, considerate, supportive and so many other things. Time flies when you are having fun!
Corri played this whole season with 2 broken bones in her foot.
She sees junk D after junk D and gets a bulk of the opposition’s focus defensively.
Many times - teams are allowed to be “physical” with her and she has to play through it.
She is very deserving of this!
Sending a big congratulations to Loudonville's
@CorriVermilya
who was named the D3 Player of the Year this afternoon!
Extremely deserving, all of us at the OH Report send our congrats! 👏
Mrs. Shilling was one of the nicest and coolest teachers I ever had. Even though I had no artistic I talent at all - she made me comfortable in her classes. She impacted everyone she ever met. Thoughts and Prayers to Jodi’s family and the Waynedale and Smithville communities.
Earlier this morning, Waynedale volleyball coach Jodi Shilling passed away after a long battle with breast cancer. She impacted and influenced so many and possessed such a strong spirit. My heart goes out to the Waynedale and the Smithville communities during this time
#JodisTeam
I think I could honestly have a full head of grey hair or be completely bald by the end of this season, but I can say without a doubt that I love this group of people and I am so proud and excited to coach them!
Go Birds!
All of us who love basketball can’t wait to be back on the court! Although we are in the midst of trying times -
@JDabbs86
and I want to give you something to look forward to - 4 months from now. The 2nd Ohio Summer Showcase will be held at the College of Wooster on July 18th!
I am so pumped for my dad! He has waited such a long time to be a head coach. He deserves this one! It was fun watching the boys compete tonight and get their first win.
BBK: Isaac Gessner scored a team-high 20 points and Loudonville beat Mansfield St. Peter 57-38 to earn the first win in the Jim Bates era. Brett Carnegie added 13 points, Zach Frankford had 9 and Ben Sanchez added 7
#TDR
I am pumped to rollout our 5th annual 3 on 3 Summer League! We had over 75 teams last year in the College, HS and JH divisions. This year - we added a Central OH location for HS/College and return to NWO and NEO for HS/College/JH! If you want to enter a team - let me know!
I am so happy for Annie and Emily! Basketball, Faith and Family mean so much to them. For them to commit to play basketball at the NAIA D2 level - together - at one of the country’s top Christian institutions is just outstanding!
CONGRATULATIONS to Annie Seboe and Emily Seboe from Loudonville HS for their verbal commitments today to Huntington University in Indiana! The twins will continue their basketball and academic careers at Huntington!
@AnnieSeboe
@EmilySeboe
@HuntingtonU
There aren’t many better representatives of OH girls hoops than
@CorriVermilya
. She has put up nearly 28 PPG, 13 RPG, 3 APG and 6 SPG this year. She is at the top of her class academically. She is as humble as it gets. She is also now a 1000-point career scorer as a sophomore.
Congratulations to Loudonville sophomore and standout
@CorriVermilya
on clipping the 1,000 point mark. In just 47 games, she did it and joins West Holmes legend Lisa Cline as the only area players to ever achieve the feat!

I am excited to finally announce our Tri-State Spring AAU League! Unlike many other leagues - this is not all-inclusive for our clubs, but does give added competition and exposure opportunities to teams from Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania on non-certified weekends! (thread)
I think that everyone from Loudonville and Perrysville made the trip to Wooster tonight. Redbird Nation came out in full force!
I am proud of our girls for battling a very good Orrville team! That Orrville senior class is all-time special there at OHS!
@bzahiriSF
@LeSaltGod
I don’t think Kerr is a bad guy at all. He is a good guy. I think it’s interesting though that he yells at Vince like that (who has no history of being a dirty player at all), but constantly turns a blind eye to his own guys doing questionable stuff.
So grateful for Kim for coming tonight - she is a legend at Loudonville and an awesome person.
Emily is simply as good of a kid as it gets. She is elite on the court and in the classroom! She now holds our school records for scoring, rebounding, blocks and made 3-pointers!
GBK:**ALERT**Loudonville standout
@EmilySeboe
scored 24 in a 60-50 win over Revere. With that, she now has 1,494 career points and passed Kim Herman's (Bracken) school-record of 1,470 set in 1996. Congrats Emily on the career record!!!

I am feeling so many emotions tonight after honoring our seniors and celebrating another league title. To say that I really love this group of players/coaches would be a major understatement. They have brought me so much joy. I can’t wait to be back in the gym with them tomorrow.
Over 700 kids play in our summer 3 on 3 league in June.
Girls Basketball numbers are down across the US - but you wouldn’t know it when you show up to see these kids compete on Monday/Tuesday Nights.
Grateful for all of the coaches for working together to make this possible!
It’s not every day we get to celebrate conference championships with our 7th, 8th and Varsity teams! Today was one of those special days. Proud of players and coaches and grateful for the support we have from the community! Go Birds!
We are underway in the afternoon session of the Ohio Summer Showcase! Nearly 150 kids from the 2023 and 2024 classes are working on shooting, ball-handling, 1 on 1 moves and finishing with some of the state’s top coaches!
I am REALLY PROUD of our Loudonville Redbirds girls basketball program. We have come so far. Our HS girls this year are legitimate Bad Asses! They keep coming back every day ready to get better. I love our players, coaches, families and supporters so much.
Go Birds baby!
Tough loss tonight to a good team. I really didn’t want this season to end. I am grateful that God has blessed me with this group of girls. I sure don’t deserve them! I am so proud of our team - they accomplished so much this season. Thank you to Redbird Nation for the support!
It drives me nuts when the basketball community criticizes and ridicules kids for posting “offers” to D3 schools or being “blessed” to have a phone call with a coach or making a “110%” commitment to the school of their choice.
You are adults. They are kids. Get a life!
