HOUSING UPDATE: There is an OFFICIAL long-term plan in the works for getting additional dormitories. The next step is for the administration to meet with student leadership and to go over the housing plan, and they are "open" to such discourse.

Housing: I was speaking to a Professor an hour ago, and he was telling me that three to four years ago Howard recently sold three properties that used to be dorms that were near campus to retail market renters which they still are collecting rent from. (1/2)

It’s important to take a look at the severity of these bomb threats. The amount of the threats have naturally slightly desensitized the howard community, but the fact that it’s disrupting major parts of the university needs to be addressed at a government level.

HHPL Credits and Classes have been officially reinstated as SENIOR CLASSES only. This means that no classes that are not currently a senior can fulfill any HHPL requirements unless you're a major or a minor.

This starts from the top too. Most of our former student government referred our own students who couldn’t continue to afford housing and local community members as “no bodies” because of their perceived economic class. There’s a lot of whiteness that runs our campus 🧍🏾‍♂️

HHPL Issues: Deborah Johnson has made it OFFICIAL that if you unable to register for a swimming course you are allowed to take an activity course in replacement. This mainly applies for seniors, but technically is for any classification. This is applies to ALL students!
