Rewatching the mcu be like Steve Rogers: "We don't trade lives." "Sometimes my teammates don't tell me things." "I'm with you 'til the end of the line." "If I see a situation going south I can't ignore it." "I'm home." Me:

@The_GM_is_God The idea is Luke would learn from that moment. AKA the most important moment in his life. You see, after that moment Vader turns good. There is no reason Luke would ever think about murdering an innocent person after saving Darth Vader. TLJ fans like to ignore context.

@getFANDOM @OffCameraShow I think what RDJ means is Tony's priority was no longer to save himself, but to save everyone else. Tony built a gauntlet that would allow him to be able to use the stones with his armor. So his last suit WAS built to save the world, but not Tony with it.

@The_GM_is_God Luke can be imperfect and also not think about killing his sleeping nephew. They did not have to throw away all of Luke's development for this mess of a story. Luke believing he had to be perfect does not make him thinking about killing his innocent, beloved nephew make sense.

Remember when Tony Stark thought he had to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders? Then Rhodey said "you don't have to do this alone," and Steve said they'd win "together". But then Endgame said the world WAS on Tony's shoulders and his sacrifice was the only way to win.

Women have always been part of Star Wars. Marcia Lucas edited the original 1977 Star Wars movie and she knows Kathleen Kennedy "doesn't get" Star Wars and thinks the new stories are "terrible". Thank you Marcia Lucas. #StarWars #disneystarwars

Just thinking about Tony Stark offering Nebula the last bit of food and Nebula staring in surprise because she isn't used to kindness and then gently pushing the food toward him knowing he needs it more than her. Their two minutes on screen were the SOFTEST two minutes of the MCU

If Pepper Potts was as selfish as Steve Rogers in Endgame we could have gotten a Pepperony "happy" ending too. Any character could have, but only Steve decided to mess with time travel for his own personal gain. And people think that was a perfect ending for him? smh

People will say "Thats not Luke Skywalker" Yeah no shit honey, that's the point. He's lost and broken because of what he's done or failed to do. His arc is about rediscovering himself and doing what's right, regardless of the past. By the end of the movie, he's soooo back.

@zfolmar @BrandonDavisBD Tony wasn't forcing anyone to do anything. 117 countries decided they wanted to give the Avengers limitations. Tony agreed and signed. The reason Tony tries to convince Steve to sign is because Steve and Sam broke the law were arrested. Tony was trying to keep them out of prison.

Tony mentions the accords can be amended in cw. It is team Cap that makes the whole situation worse and more difficult to navigate.

@captjackscn There would've been an iron man movie no matter what, but would there be an mcu? RDJ put a lot of his own ideas into the movie. Jon Favreau and Downey rewrote many scenes. It would have been very different without that particular cast and crew. It may not have been as successful.

@steveroguhs All of the Avengers are self sacrificial. That's why they're Avengers. Whoever says Steve isn't is wrong just like you are obviously wrong about Tony. Tony has also been sacrificing himself since his first movie, and has been willing to sacrifice himself in every Avengers movie.

Tony Stark's entire arc in the mcu wasn't learning to make the sacrifice play. That was something he learned way back in Iron Man 1. And it certainly wasn't Captain America who taught him that. It was Ho Yinsen. Never forget it.

Tony’s entire arc was learning to be the guy that makes the sacrifice play, and he ultimately sacrifices himself and everything he has for everything that will ever be. He learned from Cap, the beating heart of the MCU, and Tony’s sacrifice pushed Cap to make his own family

The most overlooked moment in the MCU might be when Tony Stark faces the group of terrorists holding him captive and tells them "I refuse" to help you. Tony Stark is flawed. He was ignorant and naive, but his problem was never that he didn't care about people. He always cared.

Tony Stark didn't need to die. In the MCU the message always was Tony was more than his armor. If you suddenly claim death was necessary for Tony to stop being iron man, it's like saying Tony is ONLY iron man, and that's not true. It was his mind and heart that made Tony a hero.

Ways Tony came back after Endgame. 1. Pepper used time travel to get her happy ending because apparently that's no big deal. 2. Doctor Strange used the time stone to save Tony the same way Thanos resurrected Vision. #BringBackTonyStarktolife

@buckystan2019 @steveroguhs If you think Tony was only willing to sacrifice himself in one movie it's about time for a mcu rewatch. Tony has also been willing to die to save others since his first movie.

RDJ kept Tony's character consistent, now that he's gone and no longer has a say in how these writers and directors portray Tony Stark, I'm not going to watch. Marvel has proven over and over that they can't be bothered to respect their characters, so I'm done. MCU died with Tony

@ABBAVENGERS They'd just have to live happily on Vormir. Tony would build a lovely house on a hill. For lack of better options he'd invite Redskull over every Saturday, and they'd mock Steve together. There's plenty of water for Pepper to grow a garden wherever she wants. They'd make it work.

@Joe_Brennan_ TLJ is not phenomenal. It is an abomination that took the sequel story nowhere and brought nothing new or interesting to the table.

Stressed but well dressed Tony Stark desperately trying to protect the rouge Avengers by convincing Ross not to send the "boys with bullets" after them. Clutching his chest trying to stave off a panic attack. It's just so clear that he cares so damn much about people.

@fangartkitty @sudmemes_v1 @xXMajestikXx @bellicose_barri @luvvciana @PopCrave So you're mad a white director casts mostly white actors in his movies about Victorian London and white suburbia?

@ThatAldenDiaz Whenever I need a morale boost I just think about how these new characters are completely irrelevant to pop culture and the original Lucas movies will always be timeless classics.
