College ⚾️ regionals are THE prime example as to why you should develop & use more than just your top 7 arms. These regionals can turn into marathons. The more arms you can trust, the better. Too many teams fall apart during this part of the season from lack of pitching depth.

Wilmer’s CH is coming along nicely. Early on this off-season we identified that he favors supination (two banger breaking balls & slight cut on the 4SFB). Despite this, he would force pronation on his CH (putting him behind the ball), causing it to flatten out. (1/2) ⬇️

Using focal points to improve your command: Too many times I hear pitchers talk about throwing directly to the catcher’s glove. Trying to be too fine w/ your pitches can cause you to tense up, which ultimately has a negative effect on command & velo.

‼️PSA for 99% of draft eligible arms‼️ Take. The. 💰. Turning down a respectable offer puts an insurmountable amount of pressure on you to be even better the following year (college arms) & after 2-3 years (HS arms). An amount of pressure that not many guys can overcome.
