I have spent 45+ years in the TV business and the decision to start the marathon is the single MOST IRRESPONSIBLE decision I have ever seen - lightning may not give you time to get to a shelter even if the shelter is very close

Now, 4 - hours after I first heard that my friend of 37 years, Pat Barry, lost his battle with the coronavirus I am still having trouble putting into words what this kind, genuine, boisterous, funny and always supportive colleague meant to me. Rest In Peace Pat.

The saddest part of giving many dogs a forever home is saying good-bye so often. The pics are Buddy a couple years ago, he spent his last day lounging in the sun - his favorite - then curled up next to Annie watching TV where he passed away peacefully last evening.

Walking the dogs through Bramble Park, startled a full grown but young adult buck, after three leaps turned around, stared us down, dropped his head 3 times, snorted weakly once and convinced me to turn around and go another way. He was guarding his harum of 4 females.

Wave clouds over the dog park. Warm air glides over colder air and generates waves much like wind causes water waves. The waves were visible on satellite pics. Photos looking to the ESE. D = Otto Armleder Dog Park on the satellite pic.
