Unlike D1 ⚾️, in D2 only two teams in the Southeast Region are allowed to host a regional. There are deserving teams every year in the SE region who do not host because of this rule. That being said, @NGUBaseball has hosted a regional 6 years in a row.

Pitchers- unless you are Greg Maddux or Tom Glavine circa 1990's... Trying to execute unhittable paint jobs in 0-0 counts will typically result in falling behind and walking far to many batters. Both are equally bad. Set up down the middle. Let it eat.

Small sample size, yet worth taking notice. Thru 5 games, the 2018 @GamecockBasebll bats are 🔥 compared to 2017. 🚀 +.221 in OPS (on base%+slugging%)🚀 4 SB thru 5 games last year. This year, already 10. This has translated into 4 more runs per game. Nice start boys!

2010 CWS cont. UCLA featured two All American RHP’s Gerrit Cole and Trevor Bauer. Both are in the running for the Cy Young this year in @MLB The Cocks defeated Cole in game one. Bauer never took the mound as he was too busy doing warm up stretches.
