My son begins his first day of pre-k at public school today. He knows they don’t learn about Jesus so he asked if we could study biblical stories at night so he can keep learning about Jesus. He says, “Because I love Jesus and God.” If only we all had faith like a child.

Watch suicide rates start lapping virus kill rates as the economy continues to crumble. No, I don’t want grandma, grandpa, mom, and dad to die but I also don’t want my friends, neighbors, and fellow peers to wilt into deep depression and suicidal thoughts. This wasn’t worth it.

My son professed Christ as his savior over a year ago but hadn’t gone forward for baptism until today. We didn’t push him. We wanted him to be led by the Holy Spirit and a few weeks ago he approached us and said he was ready for baptism. It’s his faith and I am one proud dad.

I’ve seen and talked to people who completely hate and trash Dave Ramsey. I don’t understand why. Jealousy maybe? Wife and I are teaching FPU to our youth at church and it’s so good for them to have some financial base to start from. It’s definitely needed.

I’m thinking about the events today and stuff just does not add up. What a wild/weird day. The lack of security for congress, the ease of rioters to storm the capitol, no answers to the shooting, not seeing names released or stories on rioters...it all seems...staged 🤔.

Yesterday while planting corn I see a shadow and hear a deafening noise. The noise was so loud and sudden it made me jump out of my seat. Vance Air Force makes runs through our area and they were flying low. I thought the tractor was coming apart 😂.

When planting corn on the weekend, row 17 sensor went bad. I make sure it’s planting even though knowing sensor is bad. Decide to just turn that row off on monitor and replace sensor on Monday. Welp, guess which row had a problem? AND it’s on the highway AND it’s where i live.

Yesterday, we took family pics. It’s my yearly reminder that I look older and uglier than the year before and my wife is looking younger and hotter as we age. I’m not complaining! But i do feel sorry for her 🤷🏻‍♂️.

The old barn is getting a new coat of paint. My great Grandpa built that barn approximately 110 years ago. It’s the last standing structure left that he built on the homestead.
