@OutoftheboxP Engage early with players, time working without player engagement is often time wasted. Consider when adding features or committing to more work, “am I doing this for the players, or for me”. Reconsider if you’re not solving player problems.

@vero__cat I wonder if you feel this too, but Discord makes me super anxious! Somehow reddit and Twitter feel a bit more .. controlled, convos are pretty organised and I never feel these are moving in real-time. I have no idea what, but something about Discord feels so immediate n stressful

@micbemacgames @Ela_VII Oh I don’t even imagine you’re coming into any contact with a hiring manager, likely security / reception. I mean more, is there a blanket zero tolerance policy on walk ins, and how do management and staff act when that policy (others may not be aware of) is violated.

Every 4 months is three times a year. That’s not a lot! It doesn’t take huge operational budgets to connect with real people, just a willingness to do so. ✨

@yasssarts @Ela_VII Find your local and smaller events. If you’re looking to make face to face contact with a studio, I assume you’re looking for local work. You are correct that noone paid to do these larger events, literally doing their job at a convention, wants to also be accepting random CVs
