Ask yourself this: If someone you know was speaking in a derogatory manner about Traveller or Romany people, would you challenge them on it? If not, what would be your reason?

Surely it would make more sense for the government to help Travellers and Gypsies by building sites etc instead of moving us on. It would be cheaper, profitable and a lot easier for everyone involved. The solution is really THAT simple. Instead they criminalise and attack us 🤔

The PCSC bill is anti minority. It is racism made law. The Government called the extra racist powers in the bill "justified" and they admit that people from the Traveller and BLM community will be racially targeted due to stereotypes. Welcome to England 2021.

Why does Travellers pulling up on a bit of ground or side of the road, make front page news? It's targeted hatred. By implying it deserves major coverage is in turn implying that it's a major event. Its people trying to live. The media are demonizing us and stirring up hatred.

I won't beg for permission to exist. I am a proud Traveller man and I will die the same. People should be accepted and celebrated for who they are, but people still want my heritage and history stripped away and wiped out. We exist as we always have. We will always be Travellers

Is it right that Im refused service from a pub or place of business just because I am a Traveller? Is it right that people stand by and watch this treatment and don't speak up? Is it right that this treatment of my people has been accepted for centuries? Is any of this right?

To challenge racism should be a moral duty, not a popular bandwagon moment.

If your dislike of Travellers are based on what you've seen in the media or what you've heard from Ian down the pub, then you really need to see the wider picture and look at the truth. Your prejudices are based on anothers racism. Speak to us and make your own decision

Everyone is calling Tyson 'The Gypsy King' Fury a great British icon and are claiming him as their own. When the hype all dies down, people will be back online calling him derogatory names again. The fact is, no matter what we do, acceptance for us will never become a real thing.

Today I was going through Twitter and some of the anti Traveller posts were starting to effect me. I was angry, sad, disgusted, confused and hurt. People calling for Travelling children to be shot etc we are not animal's or monsters. A little compassion can go a long way 😑😑
