Are you the kind of person who sees Space Mountain is down and runs for the PeopleMover in the hopes you can ride by Space Mountain with the lights on? Because, that's me, too. 🙋
Metal scoops replaced hand service this year at Mickey’s Not So Scary. We’re seeing larger servings per stop with the added bonus of fewer germs. We’re getting 5-7 pieces per stop.
The guest next to us at breakfast is looking up & reading out calorie & fat estimates for everything on the Steakhouse 71 menu as we eat our breakfast filet. Also, we could be wrong, but the rest of her party looks as attacked as we feel. We’re going to buy them a pastry platter.
In the It-Used-To-Be-Free division of news, the trenta ice water at Starbucks in the Magic Kingdom is no longer free. You can have ice water in a trenta cup, but it will cost you $3.99 +tax (they ring it up as tea). The small, red water cup is the only free option now.
Fastpasses for Tomorrowland attractions are being distributed from a single location. Very quick and easy, just scan ticket, select an attraction and you are given the next available time.

It may be a little thing, but the most popular complaint around the TouringPlans office this morning is how sales tax wasn't included in Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane prices. It feels like a literal definition of being nickeled and dimed (plus a few pennies, too).
It's all a matter of scale -- without a label on the y-axis, it looks like It's Tough to Be a Bug will be a MUCH longer wait all day than Flight of Passage according to Genie.
The Walt Disney World Vault collection is now available at Disney Springs’ Marketplace Co-Op and let’s just say we barely escaped with our bank account intact.
The couple in front of us at the Spring Roll cart just broke up. In line. And they’re staying in line. You have to eat somewhere and the cheeseburger spring rolls are better than most of our exes.
The good news is that with all the information you need to know about Genie to try and figure it out, it makes The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World seem like a short read. . .
Shout out to the CMs we’ve run into this morning. They’ve been absolutely wonderful to see and have been so joyful. We’ve missed you all, and are so thankful for your work.
