This mornings annular solar eclipse taken from northeast Arizona. This is one of my best photos to date. I love the symmetry of the shot and how you can see the imperfections of the moon.

Throwback to my first storm chasing trip in 2011 where a ten year old me had the privilege of meeting Tim Samaras and the rest of team TWISTEX in South Dakota before initiation that day.
This thunderstorm rolling through central Massachusetts right now has the best New England storm structure I’ve ever seen. Unbelievable shelf cloud.

I’m stranded in Utah, roads are washed out and a group of Mormons knocked off my lightbar and weather instruments and damaged my car, sos. Alright where are my new followers.
Todays edition of colorized old tornado pictures: Top left Hardtner, Kansas, June 2, 1929 // Top right Elkhart, Indiana, Palm Sunday 1965 // Bottom left Near Greensburg, Kansas 1915 // Bottom right Omaha, Nebraska 1913.

Also very serious flash flooding taking place on route 2 in central Massachusetts. I don’t know exactly what town this is, my friend sent me this picture

It's not often that a picture that is not of a tornado end's up being my favorite picture I took during my chasecation week, but last week that was the case. Earth, TX 5/16/21
It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years. I was lucky enough to have met both Tim and Carl in May 2011 on my first chase trip while in South Dakota before a chase. They were both as kind as claimed to be and happily accepted to take a picture with 10 year old me. RIP Twistex
Some more colorized old tornado pictures because I'm addicted: Top left North Dakota 1895 // Top Right St. Paul, Minnesota, July 13, 1890 // Bottom Left Isabel, South Dakota, June 25 1914 // Bottom right Ponca, Oklahoma, Early 1900's

Alright yesterday I did the best lightning picture you’ve taken. Today’s version is what is your favorite storm structure picture you’ve taken? Here’s mine
Another crazy vintage tornado moment from the 90’s that I found. A huge wedge tornado on the left and a second tornado that is literally horizontal to the ground right of it
This is the last post about this storm for a while. This was the timelapse from my drone of the 5/16/21 Earth, TX supercell and IMO this is the best video I’ve ever shot.
In my opinion this is the craziest video shot of the Springfield, MA EF-3. This was recorded near the town of Monson, which is close to where the tornado reached peak intensity and width of a half mile wide. Maybe it's just me but this video kind of reminds me of Tuscaloosa.
