This dude had changed the direction of the Irving distance program. From leading his CC team to a regional appearance, 1st in 22 yrs, then setting the school record in the 3200 and 1600, Alfonso Samaneigo is an area qualifier and a tremendous example for our young runners.

CC and Track @IrvingHigh has seen tremendous success this season. Sharing athletes has driven that success. Every regional or area qualifer is a multisport starter. Sharing and encouraging students to participate in a variety of sports builds more complete programs. @rob_starr
