For the 1 millionth time. The color grading that was used when the film released was never the intended look. The director lack of experience and equipment is the reason why it looked like that when it came out. He always wanted to fix the color of this film.

Here is a scene from the Warner Archive release of Drunken Master 2(1994) with the original Cantonese audio mix. At first, I thought the audio was too low but upon further review is because it has more detail compared to the Laserdisc which is loud and lacks detail.

"Hell’s Garden (2021) 地獄の花園" All she wanted was to be a normal Office Lady but no they had to bring the beast out. The choreography is not next-level but damn is a fun action/comedy film with manga inspiration in the plot. I had a blast with this one.

Looks like Gareth Evans is remastering the Raid with a new color grade. Hopefully both editions are included. Really love the unique color tone of the original. This remaster looks great so far and has that modern look to it and still captures that gritty vibe. What ya think?

From the 4K UHD copy of "Blade(1998)" They really blessed this release. If anyone owns the Blu-Ray or seen the digital version you know how they butchered that transfer. With HDR everything pops, especially the blacks. The audio got a massive upgrade so this opening scene shines.

Godzilla Minus One [2023] Directed By: Takashi Yamazaki The vibes on the B&W version are so freaking good and the Dolby Vision is bonkers on the 4K UHD. The B&W is not in 4K but it looks amazing. What a release. Hopefully when this comes out West, they include both as well.

Tatsuya Nakadai in Kihachi Okamoto's "The Sword of Doom(1966)" I love this scene so much. Great camera and attack flow. The way the music is also used after killing a group adds to the whole vibe of the scene. I never forget that look at the end. Ryunosuke is that dude.
