A decision's been made. *Finally*. The Timeless Doctors movie currently runs to 2hrs 20mins, which is a bit of a slog all in one go. So it's being split into 3 separate episodes. Approx running times: Ep1 = 35 mins; Ep2 = 50 mins; Ep3 = 1hr. They'll be released simultaneously.

I've been in email communication with Chris Baker's daughter - a really lovely, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic woman, who actually has a framed copy of her dad's Morbius photo! It really exists in HD! She is going to scan it for me over Christmas. What a fantastic present!

I've been playing with some apps. I used Photoshop to undistort and colourise a telesnap from 'The Feast of Steven' and then used Remini to upscale & enhance it. I'm really liking the result 😍

Yesterday we received the final lines of dialogue for the 9th Doctor, courtesy of the multi-talented Peter Walsh. His understanding of Eccleston's inflections & delivery is really rather incredible & never ceases to impress. In fact, it's Fantastic!

Today I laid down all the scenes we've done & the film is currently 53 minutes. But still quite a few scenes to do! Probably 15-20 minutes still pending + some "done" scenes to finish off. But we're 3-quarters finished! The cast have been *very* patient, but their time is coming!

Thanks to James Kyle who shared this on Gallifrey Base - it's the original rehearsal script for 'Power of the Daleks', in which the Doctor explicitly confirms that his Hartnell body was not his first. Such a shame the lines were reworked for transmission 🤨

A big aspect of the movie is the "re-purposing" of footage from around 400 movies and TV series, which takes an *enormous* amount of time & energy to source. And then, once identified, it has to be changed and adapted it to fit the narrative. It has been a Hurculean task!

To manage expectations, I should explain that not all Drs have equal screen time, like they did in 'The 5 Doctors'. My own favourite Dr doesn't show up until the last 15 minutes & one is only in the epilogue. But that's no reflection on their Dr, merely a requirement of the plot.

Trying to get hi-res, colour shots of Hartnell for the film was always going to be a major challenge. Image 1 shows that the BBC opted for a "grunged down" approach in 'Name of the Doctor'. I decided I wanted to rebuild those shots in better resolution for 'The Timeless Doctors'
