Dabo Swinney quoted after Chic-Fil-A Bowl win over LSU in 2012 to earn first 11 win season since 1981: "You can't win 12 until you win 11...and you can't win a national championship until you learn how to win games like this. This was a landmark win." Scary how prophetic.

Clemson played 3 night road games (2 with Game Day in town) in some of the toughest environments college football can offer. Vs. Louisville, VT, Scar...Clemson won 3 games by a combined 112-48. Those 3 teams each won at least 8 regular season games (combined 25-11).

Trevor Lawrence’s 295 passing yards were Clemson’s 4th most against Scar in school history. Including his school-best 393 passing yards against South Carolina, Lawrence is responsible for 2 of the top 4 passing yardage performances against the Gamecocks in school history.

It was an "orange britches" Saturday! Clemson warmed up in all white last night, but switched to orange pants when it became apparent Wake Forest was going to lose to VT, thus allowing Clemson to clinch the Atlantic with a win over NCSU.
