NEWS: After continued poor performances, the former presidents of the University’s Alumni Association have sent the following to President Jack Degioia:
Georgetown’s own Ed Cooley just spoke to accepted students at GAAP weekend. He had Gaston Hall doing synchronized claps, telling the future class of 2027 that he wants to grow at Georgetown with them as his first class.
Patrick Ewing and his Georgetown squad have had a brutal 18 months. They've dealt with transfers, injuries, being picked last in the conference, COVID, and the loss of Coach Thompson.
Now they're in the Big East Tournament final and one win away from the Big Dance. Hoya Saxa.
It’s hard to put into words what Jagan Mosely has meant to Georgetown.
Patrick Ewing did his best this morning: “He’s not Allen Iverson, he’s not myself, he’s not Dikembe or Alonzo, but to me he is up there with all of us.”
One bad game doesn’t erase an amazing season or make the Big East Championship banner turn into dust.
It’s been a great season, and the future is bright for Georgetown.
BREAKING: Students on Georgetown's campus have spotted newly appointed Assistant Coach Jordan Brooks hosting highly-touted 2022 wing Tyrell Ward. Brooks was instrumental in securing Ward's commitment to Xavier under Travis Steele.

Congrats to Terrell Allen on 1,000 career points. He's been everything Georgetown fans could have ever wanted and more. His unselfish play has been a big part of why this reimagined Georgetown team has been so much fun to root for.
In the Big East Championship, Georgetown beat Creighton by 25 points. In the Sweet Sixteen, Gonzaga beat Creighton by a mere 18 points.
Obviously, this means Georgetown > Gonzaga
Pop the champagne! 5-star wing Aminu Mohammed has committed to Georgetown. With Mohammed’s commitment, the Hoyas’ loaded 2021 recruiting class now ranks 6th nationally.
Thank you to Terrell Allen for being the consummate team player. Your unselfish play and quiet leadership helped lead the team this season.
We only wish we could've had you for longer.
Dante Harris is a Georgetown legend. From joining this team as an unranked freshman to leading the team to a Big East Tournament victory, he was the epitome of what it meant to be a Hoya. Thank you, Dante.
It’s been 685 days since Georgetown beat a Big East opponent. Security has put up the Great Wall of Capital One to stop the students from having our fun.

In four days, the majority of Georgetown’s starters played 30+ minutes and beat two Sweet Sixteen teams en route to winning the Big East.
I don’t think the enormity or the sheer impressiveness of that feat has fully sunk in yet.
"If you weren’t proud of the Hoyas already, now is the time to get on board."

In a whirlwind 18 months, Patrick Ewing dealt with six transfers, the loss of Coach Thompson, and a chorus of critics.
Through it all, Ewing kept pushing, and now he has the Hoyas back in the Big Dance and primed for a return to national prominence.
It’s the return of the Mack!
Georgetown has landed former Gatorade DC Player of the Year and top-rated transfer PG Malik Mack. He joins F Micah Peavy as the second addition in this strong transfer class.
NEWS: Harvard transfer Malik Mack has announced he’s committed to Georgetown.
Mack is an Oxon Hill, Maryland native who played just one season at Harvard. He’s a former 3⭐️ recruit out of high school.
He averaged 17.2PPG, 4.8APG, 4.0RPG and 1.3SPG this season.
A well embedded source in the class said the vibes were ELECTRIC. A student asked about Hunter Dickinson point blank and Cooley said he expects to land everyone who comes to campus, then added “if we don’t get them we’ll beat them.” In other words this weekend going to be huge.
“When I’m gone, if I can’t go to heaven, take me back to Georgetown.”
John Thompson left his mark on the game of college basketball forever

HOYA SAXA!!! Georgetown just got the commitment of 5 star 2021 SG Aminu Mohammed, who is headed for the Hilltop! He’s Georgetown’s highest ranked recruit since Austin Freeman in 2007.
NEWS: TCU transfer guard Micah Peavy has committed to Georgetown, he tells

The 6-8 senior averaged 10.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. Former top-40 recruit.
Jordan Riley was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of New York.
In addition, Aminu Mohammed was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Missouri for the second year running.
Georgetown's incoming class is absolutely loaded

introduces his plan to reconfigure McDonough to increase the capacity of the gymnasium without a full-on renovation and turn it into a usable home venue for Hoya hoops. His feature below:
Another cool anecdote: before the event Ed was standing outside Gaston shaking hands with accepted students and their parents. In other words we won this hire.
Georgetown’s own Ed Cooley just spoke to accepted students at GAAP weekend. He had Gaston Hall doing synchronized claps, telling the future class of 2027 that he wants to grow at Georgetown with them as his first class.
We’d like to recognize long-time contributor Kathryn, who graduated this past weekend and was one of our first writers.
Kathryn never said no to a challenge these past two years, and we’ve loved hearing her love for the Hoyas shine through in her writing.
Congrats Kathryn!
