I actually won something in the GDL !!!! Played well tonight to continue my good run of form. How long it lasts before falling back into the doldrums of dartitis is anyone's guess. Very nice to get over the line with a 14 after Gaz pegged me back to 6-6. Cheers @GDL180

Tough decision to make for me today. Ive come to the realisation that I'm not enjoying my darts at the moment. I'm stressing about time to organise games, not enjoying them when I do and it's a negative spin I've been in before and lead to a real bad bout of Dartitis.

So I've made the hard choice to remove myself from the GDL and focus on other things that aren't putting me in a downward mental spiral. Hopefully it's just a short time but if I don't miss it, I'll not be coming back. Thanks for an amazing few years and great meet ups.

Winning the GDL live event in Southampton was something that filled me with great pride because of where I was a few months prior to the event and it's forever on the internet so who can forget that !! Haha. @GDL180 community is massive and I thank them all for their time

Pub darts again tonight. I've won one lost one in the league. Won 3 legs and 2 of them were 15 or under. Not sure I get any better from here but I'm sure the draw will pit me against the best player in the room again

Great game tonight in @GDL180 Divi 2. Lost 8-6 but played some really good stuff. Including 4 180'S. Missed a 141 and hit a 14 darter so pretty happy. Still at 5-5 though.... I'm done 😄

After over 3 weeks off and not really picking up a dart for 2 and half of those weeks it felt good to be back. I think taking the cup games off this cycle helped me recover from my @GDL180 Blues. Lots of rough in my performance but did some good things. Cheers Luke.

Lost 2-1 tonight. Had a 180 and a 15 darter in my first leg and then half way through the second I started to think and completely fell out of the zone. Struggled from that moment on. Other guy played very well also so can't be upset about losing

Most nights before bed I throw some darts. Normally I play a game that once I faulter, I go to bed. Tonight I played 25(1pt) or Bulls(2pts) until I didn't score a point with 3 darts in hand. Made it to 44...... That is quite literally insane

Had a decent game tonight in the @GDL180 Somehow only came away with a draw after having 2 15 darters and going back to back to start a leg for the first time in a long time !! Very very nervous on the doubles tonight though....

Tonight - What should have happened last night happened tonight. Gareth played a blinder and in all honesty i wasn't close to him but I felt much more in control. Slowed myself right down tonight. Took out the 138 with absolutely no yips or snatch. Pure as they come. Happy days

Won a GDL cup game tonight 6-2 Early 60 average feeling so uncomfortable the whole match and it shows in my first 9. Lucky for me Andy didn't finish me off and D16 was very kind. If I ever get comfortable at the oche I might be half decent

7-7 in my first game in Divi 2. I'll say it again. 14 legs is ridiculous back to back to back. Id rather play first to 5. When you've played 8 legs and there's still a potential 6 to go I just can't be bothered.

@MentalDarts Our throws evolve over time.. it just happens. If you can't easily fix it then just forget about it. Your hand eye coordination should correct your throw and release to get the dart going where it should. Obsessing over it can lead to much worse problems than the odd 5

Sheshhh, finished mid table round 1 in Divi 6 last season, mid table in the equaliser in pool B. Now I'm in Division 3 Pool A for this season. 🤦 Should be some tough games. Hopefully I can sneak a few draws and maybe a win or two.

I have FINALLY got my Scolia back up and running after being in storage since moving house. Hoping to have much more structured practice. Felt very good in this one - adding a little Peter Wright Esque step in my action makes everything feel so much more controlled.

Been back playing some local league stuff this past few weeks as I'm stepping up my dartitis come back once again. Starting to believe in my game again.. slowly. 180 and a 101 out last night. 84 personal average in the gallon... its there when I let it.

Walked away from the oche last night after a 7-3 loss I'm the @GDL180 equaliser happier than I have been in a long while. Managed to flow nicely and stay relaxed. Hit a double 1 nice and smoothly..... which is the worst of all doubles for Dartitis sufferers

@GDL180 I always offer GDL as my preferred scorer. Takes all the drama out of 'what's the format' etc etc. Some just plain refuse to use it. Which is the only reason I use Nakka at times. I'm lucky in that I use my PC and webcam so there's no phone log in stress that others find.

Back to League darts tonight and I'm on Annual Leave this week.... 🤦🍻🍻. Last season(my first season) I won the most singles games of anyone in my league, got the most 180s and had 2 of the 5 highest checkouts. This season I'm just hoping to have fun(and loads of 180s)

Genuinely a little bit embarrassed this ended up so close ! Paul should have easily won this 7-1, 7-2. I was so so poor on my set up shots and doubles, I just couldn't relax at all. A real heatbreaker as i'd hit 7 maybe 8 180s and some nice outs during practice earlier.

I see lots of @GDL180 and @TheadlDarts players posting score cards after games. Normally by the winner but not always. Some people obscure or remove their opponents name - If you do, why ? If you don't, should you ? I'm not sure myself....
