I was 294 lbs in May. I’m now sitting at 248 lbs. 23 lbs to go for my goal weight before getting back to building. Don’t let anything tell you that you’re stuck. There are ways. I hate vegetables, work 55-60 hours a week, have 2 kids and wife and still write. I found a way!

May 1st, I was 294 lbs. I was sick of it. I changed my lifestyle and consumer habits. In August was was 255, and now October I am about 247. Don’t let anyone tell you, and don’t tell yourself, that it’s impossible. If you have the want, find the will. Hardest part is starting!

Authors who have a day job, what do you do for a living? And does your job help with writing in any way? I'm a carpenter/construction worker. It definitely helps me visualize buildings and structures, especially when they're getting destroyed. Maybe with distance and climbing.
