Imagine a world where there were no Halloween sequels after part 4. The ending of the franchise and the entire series was brought full circle, clown costume and all, by a young girl having just stabbed her foster mother. Cut to black, roll credits. Finished.
@RealScreenGeek
As much as this is satire, you know there are people who believe it. Sadly, I have very little hope for the human race. Nuance is dead.
The Loomis Trilogy.
The story of a child psychiatrist obsessed with containing an evil force within his patient. Just when he thinks he's succeeded, the evil reappears in a 7 year old girl. He screams in terror, knowing the cycle has begun again, and that evil has truly won. 🎃
Halloween Ends is basically your first Halloween anthology film in 40 years.
Remove Myers completely and focus on Corey's descent into madness by other means (as a character study) then... maybe.
But as the epic Halloween conclusion and 3rd act in a trilogy? 😬
#HalloweenEnds
The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre film is all icing and little cake. That said, viewers suggesting it's the worst horror film ever to grace the screen is hyperbole I can't take seriously. If you stand by that, you haven't watched many horror movies... or maybe you're just extra. ;)
Folks, whether you enjoyed the film or not, Iet us tip our hats to the crew of Halloween Kills. Making movies is extremely difficult, and takes an entire team of passionate artists to create the magic you see on screen. This photo inspires me.
#Halloweenkills
Watching ENDS again...
This moment brings me such Halloween nerdy joy. A simple, delightful, and perfect way to cap off your Halloween legacy.

If adding your name to a Halloween Ends petition helps give you the feeling your voice is being heard, knock yourself out. But please understand it will make 0 difference. Multi-million dollar films do not get remade because you didnt like it. There are no guarantees with art.
Whatever your views are of HALLOWEEN ENDS, let's try and leave the toxic vitriol in the toilet. Disagreeing can be a lot of fun, but you gotta move beyond catchy buzzwords and unnecessary character attacks if you wanna be taken seriously. 🎃
#HALLOWEENENDS
How many of you will be watching Halloween Kills on streaming instead of the theater? Not both, just streaming. I've received a lot of DMs that make me think there's quite a few. 🤔
Dear Halloween fans...
If you feel the need to exert animal rage at me, or any of my fellow creators for our different opinions, do the following...
Take a deep breath, 2 bites of a cookie and a sip of chocolate milk. Then repeat the following out loud...
"It's only a movie."
Official SCREAM poster. This is not to be confused with SCREAM. This is a different SCREAM. Like how Halloween was a different Halloween than Halloween and Halloween.
So Halloween fans, how do you feel about Danny McBride admiting that Halloween Kills will be a bloody, gory, wild killing ride? For those that have waited years to see Myers tear shit up, you're about to get your wish! Are you excited?
Someone just told me they've seen Halloween Kills in the theater 8 times since last Thursday night. I'll never understand those that can do this. How? How do you do this!? lol. Even when I love a movie, 3 times is the most I've ever seen one in the theater. 8 times in 5 Days?!
Found this old newspaper clipping I cut out in 1995 when the film was released. Halloween 6 was the first Halloween film i saw in the theater. I was 16. The film was rated R (18 and over here in Canada) but I looked 25 and sounded 40. No ID required. lol.
No matter what someone says about a movie, no matter how negative or positive the reviews or comments are, always reserve judgment for yourself. And never, EVER, be afraid to love a movie others don't, or dislike a movie others love.
This example lacks context.
The impact of a character is not about minutes and seconds, it's about how the character is utilized throughout the narrative. The shark in JAWS is on screen for 4 minutes and doesn't appear in full until 81 minutes in. And then there's JAWS 4...
Just a friendly reminder that the top image is absolutely terrifying, and how it always should be. The bottom image is absolutely ridiculous and never ever how it should be. Capeesh?!
Imagine if the last Halloween movie ever made was H4, leaving audiences to revel in its shocking ending. Then, 35 years later, an announcement is made that a direct sequel (with Danielle Harris and Ellie Cornell) has moved into development. 35 years dripping with anticipation.
HKills delivers a terrific flashback. I believed it was 1978. All things considered, the film pleased a purest like me by shifting away from H18's aesthetic, to one that fits far more in line with Halloween's greatest character; mood, atmosphere and suspense.
#Halloweenkills
One of the best modern images of Myers.
It's no secret I wasn't a big fan of Kills, but I appreciated the logistical achievement of the flashback. This doesn't merely look like someone cosplaying as Myers (as many of the older sequels do) this looks like The Shape. I believe it.
The DGG Halloween trilogy will forever be divisive, but there's one thing all Halloween fans should be able to agree on... the score for each film is fire! The dark, mystical, and atmospheric tones of each synth chord permeate through the veins like an injection of adrenaline.
Halloween Ends plays with some interesting themes. But this story would be better served as an anthology film about a young man from Haddonfield wherein a murder charge destroys his life. You dont even need Myers. Corey's "evil turn" could simply be the result of being bullied.
The original Halloween is full of great shots like this. The Shape watches, waits, observes... and strikes like a predator. There is no motive. It just is. A force of nature.
The HK trailer has leaked. I am incredibly disappointed at the so-called "Halloween fans" that caused this to happen. You gave others a first look at the movie via shitty picture quality and garbage sound. You all suck. Universal needs to release it now to gain back control.
I was informed that Nick Castle's cameo in Halloween Kills was unfortunately cut (it would have appeared in the bathroom scene with the couple playing with the drone) but will appear on the Blu Ray. All the breathing is Nick Castle.
Some think that because Jamie Lee Curtis has wrapped, that somehow means she isn't in the movie very much. This is not true. Especially when we're talking about the production schedule of a horror film. She was on set for a month. Much can be shot in 4 weeks on a horror film.
James Jude Courtney continues to solidify his legacy in HKills as one of the all time greats to play the role. From subtle head tilts, to the nuanced movements, I am once again believing he's the evolution of the same Michael Myers from 1978.

I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has expressed such positive feedback in regards to my portrayal of Freddy Krueger in Dylan's New Nightmare. It means a lot. You're never going to please everyone, but I hope I was able to at least show the character can live on. When
The ambiguity and mystique is the foundation of the character. What drives it forward to kill is simply not knowable. It's what separates him from other horror characters whose backstories and motives are often clear. Myers is, and should always remain, an enigma.
#HalloweenEnds
The Shape.
Its true nature must remain ambiguous.
Its reason unknowable and irrelevant. Removing the mystique that surrounds it is akin to revealing how a magician's magic trick is done. Preserving the illusion maintains its awe and wonder.

Halloween Kills definitely has a high body count, with lots of blood, gore, and carnage. But for some reason, I was expecting even more mayhem than what was delivered. Perhaps I'm more sick and twisted than I thought.

Meeting the legend himself, Robert Englund. The weekend thus far has been teriffic. Thanks to all who has stopped by the table and said hello. I'll be at the convention today for another 3 hours before I have to fly home.
Left to right. Cecil Laird, Me, Robert, and Miko Hughes.
The official trailer for Dylan's New Nightmare (starring yours truly as Freddy Krueger and
@MikoHughes

You are ALL my children now!
We've settled our differences. We're now besties ready to hit the bar for some partying.
Yours truly as Neo Freddy from Dylan's New Nightmare and
@vincentedisanti

Dylan's New Nightmare starring myself and
@MikoHughes

Can't wait to show you what we have in store. Freddy's makeup will be all prosthetics.
"Miss me?"
The OFFICIAL TRAILER for the Black Christmas Fan Film It's Me, Billy has arrived. The film is an unofficial sequel set nearly 50 years after the events of the first movie and follows the granddaughter of Jess Bradford. Billy is back!

SCREAM 6 should step out of its comfort zone and deliver a shocking cliffhanger with the identity of Ghostface still unknown. Push SCREAM into new territory with something exciting and truly unexpected. Convince the audience that this time it really IS different.
Because some of the Halloween Ends teaser has leaked, be prepared for a 'possible' full release today from Universal. These kinds of leaks are avoidable. Trailers can be locked and encrypted with a digital key from the studio, and only made available on the desired date and time.
I've always said, the probability of Halloween Kills being released on Peacock (alongside theaterical) was extremely high. This has nothing to do with negative reviews, and everything to do with the pandemic and luring you to Peacock. It's business.
Tomorrow night I'll be seeing HALLOWEEN ENDS. And then, I will formulate my thoughts with red string, diagrams, push pins, and a bulletin board while drinking chocolate milk at 2am. 🎃🔪

THIS is a great shot. I've always liked it. This is The Shape. Once again, I believe it. I don't like it AS much as the one I shared the other day, but I still dig it.
Halloween 2018: Solid. At times, very intense. JJC should change his name to MM. Humor/Dialogue: Some cheese. Music: Vintage JC. Shots: Some very impressive :) You can't please everyone, but most of you can breathe. Detailed review after October 19.

Maybe It's impossible, but I'm hoping the Halloween community can come together. The 5 year ride is nearly over. Whether you're a fan of my videos or not, thank you for watching. If the new film divides us in opinions, let's not allow it to divide us as fans.

I'm torn with HKills. I appreciate the aesthetic and certain lighting choices. Myers, music, flashback all great. But the pacing was disjointed. And the overselling dialogue during most of the hospital scenes made the actors look far too selfaware they're in a Halloween movie.
For years Halloween fans have believed this shot was a cameo from Debra Hill, and her small stature was hidden because of the distance from the camera. It's not true. Thanks to Sean Clark and Tommy Lee Wallace in a recent interview on Sean's podcast, this is in fact Nick Castle.
Friendly reminder, I am not wearing a rubber mask, as some have thought. This is 5 hours of prosthetic makeup, exactly how they did it in the 80s. Some will like the look, others won't, but this ain't no mask. Masks don't allow for this kind of articulation and expression.
This was my first day on set, and first day in makeup. I was rehearsing in front of the mirror, allowing myself to get into character, slowly moving towards a darker place and delivery. Seeing myself in the mirror helped to place those Freddy Krueger nuances.
You could say I've been rehearsing for a while...
Left: Me, 1989.
Right: Me, 2022, and living a dream as close to official as one could get. Thanks to my DNN family for the chance to showcase what I could do, and pay respect to the legacy of Wes Craven and Robert Englund.
Michael's fingers appear to have grown back. He likes to wear rings too. Is this Michael?
Could this be Corey dressed as Michael? Could Laurie, who looks very 1978 with that blue shirt, be involved in a roleplay similar to Shutter Island? That would be "weird" and "different."
The best shot of Myers from the trailer. You know that feeling you get looking at this image? You feel it now don't you? That needs to be maintained. Mystique and ambiguity. The unknown and the unknowable. A forever feeling like we just might figure it out... but we never do.
Now that SCREAM 5 is officially titled SCREAM, allow me to suggest 2 sequel titles that are completely original, and never been used.
SCREAM (2022)
SCREAM KILLS (2024)
SCREAM ENDS (2026)
I went through 54 pages of scrap paper and 6 pens to come up with these brilliant titles.
Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, David Gordon Green, Danny McBride, Jason Blum, Ryan Turek and Malek akkad were all in the house! Footage and video tomorrow. 4 rows from the screen. Thinking of what to say... letting what I saw marinate.

This shot of The Shape from Halloween is probably my favorite, and there's quite a few. Whenever I am watching the movie with somebody who's never seen it before, I always look to them at this moment to see their reaction.
It's so menacing. 🎃🔪
"You can't kill the boogeyman!"
Shoutout to Carlos Murphey for sending this my way.
Thanks Carlos. Very cool to see a side by side. My favorite portrayal of Freddy is Nightmare 2, and I was definitely channeling that in my performance.
Just a friendly reminder that the scariest Freddy (and the best opening dream sequence) lives in A Nightmare on Elm Street 2. These shots of Freddy are mint. I'd change nothing. Crafted to perfection!
