The open world recaptured a lot of what I personally loved about playing Halo growing up. It doesn’t get old for me because I do the same shenanigans with Marines in my top Halo levels of old after I’ve cleared them. Aimless exploring, sightseeing, and wondering what’s beyond.

I get it now. Chief *can* be a one man army, but for the GAMES to work, he’s supposed to be the *secret ingredient* to the overall UNSC’s recipes for success. That’s, to me, why Infinite still doesn’t feel β€œright” enough when it comes to the UNSC.
