You know what's framed as a nice, romantic thing that actually horrifies me? Public Proposals. Unless the preposee knows its coming and the whole thing is a show for a free dessert. Otherwise its performative, pressuring and disrespectful, putting someone on the spot like that.

@sicc_bitch I'm very lucky to have found my pain mgmt specialist who's disabled. We have some of the best rapport & communication I've ever experienced with a doc. I usually laugh at the concept of a "care team," because he is one of the few docs I see who I know actually cares about me.

@Karnythia I do oils (olive, avocado, sesame, coconut) on salads or to cook with. Caprese salad has mozzarella and olive oil, great while tomatoes are in-season. A plate of cheese and olives. Mixed nuts. Deviled eggs. Put avocado on stuff. Butter on banana bread never hurts either 😃

As we are encouraging our friends not to use Amazon, remember that it is one of the few online grocery stores currently authorized to accept EBT (aka food stamps). For many poor and disabled folks, Amazon is the only choice. Advocate for more EBT options & spending flexibility.

@BeingCharisBlog Same. I will always be a telehealth provider; it protects my immunocompromised butt, and patients find it more convenient. I encourage other providers to offer telehealth--more patients show up to the Zoom because they don't have to leave their house!
