Tool brands compared to guns, a thread:
Rules:
>there are no sacred cows, get over it. Your opinion is objectively wrong, mine correct.
>i own all brands of tools and have shot all brands of guns. I am a ret*rd dont take it so seriously.
>its for fun, stop crying.
It sucks we find ourselves in the current day, and best way forward is a bit of optimism and planning, with some elbow grease soon. While the idea is more than a hundred years old at this point, time to bring back some propaganda posters: victory gardens!
Young boar Basil and barrow Dill dropped off at the butcher today.
Not as tough for me as the steer was, but still makes me reflect.
Being this close to my food makes me think and hope im doing it right.
Milwalkee - Sig. The worst, most annoying users: electricians (feds) everyone says you need these even if you arent a pro (seals) but damn, they really do go fast and feel so good. Tools get better and better as the years go by but more & more every successive tool year looks...
Dewalt - Glock: generic crap, absolutely boring, kinda dumb, but everyone (literally) has at least one tool in the garage (safe) thats that awful yellow. 90s stuff was the tits (g19 gen2), but alas each new generation gets worse because they change the grip angle, the stipling...
Ask me about restraint.
Ill tell you about two of my kids finding fluorescent pink and orange spray paint and thinking my dog and truck are the perfect canvases for an art project.
Makita - AK: ugly, fkn teal... can be spotted from a mile away. Will work no matter how much muck is in them or what you do to them. On every jobsite (battlefield), more often than not welded by carpenters (absolute tards) that will get the job done no matter what....
Festool - HK "Crafted to the highest level of German engineering" aka borderline overrated, expensive german crap that you dont need but drool over and contemplate selling a kidney for. They wont release a real compact drill no matter how hard we ask (civilian mp5 plz h&k plzz).
>be me
>blizzard is coming. Gotta check on the amigos
>text everyone
>friends on other side of valley have raw milk for me and the fam.
>hellyeah.gif
>head over
>leave their place with raw milk and something else.
Pic related.
Feed will get expensive w/ fuel fluctuations, ammonia shortages, bureaucrats continuing to be fat and worthless...
Trying to plot a few more steps out instead of just hoping i can keep buying in bulk with a few neighbors.
Getting close to supply chain EXIT for myself&community
It used to be the case that factory-farmed meat was a question of quality & ethics vs budget, but now it's not even obvious that it's cheaper
Your first turkey might cost you $150 for the feeders & the pen, but thereafter it's a $10 bag of feed & some chores
What a time to be alive!
Instead of waxing eloquently on topics i know little about, or screeching abt how his handlers should have puppeted him better, ill share some insights on gardening that you can take and use as you see fit. Plan now, plant tomorrow, prosper the next day
Funeral potatoes: consooomed
Caffeine and sugar free coke: drank
Green Jello Salad: sampled
The Y: seen
Brother Brigham: homage paid to
Watch out gentiles, I am now at full strength
Craftsman - Springfield (think 1903/1911). Gramps still has a garage (safe) full of them, "used these for 50 yrs of building houses sonny boy" (Muh world wars). Very old, very heavy, very made of metal and solid as heck, still going strong, if you find one grab it. Yet alot...
Most of their stuff looks goofy af but you still want it for some reason, probably because its german and you are ret*rded and wow i want two do you take IOUs?
They actually are quality tools that high end woodworkers (sf dudes) use to their full potential & look good doing it.
Skil - Mossberg: an older company that makes one thing really really good: the Mag77 saw (590 a1) and everything else that comes from them is just meh. I wouldn't trade my mag for any other tool out there.
just like the last one (think m16 to xm7). I guess the interals are different on that impact, but its the same as the last one? And whatever you do do not drop their drills (p320 lmao) Worth it? Sure, but youll be called a ghey diva if carrying that red tool bag around on site.
better things have come along since the glory days & they have become absolute crap tier (xd) since. There is hope: the compressors are made in good ole usa & hold up real well, and they are taking feedback from users and improving designs (think saint/hellion/hellcat).
Ryobi - Taurus:yea i guess it works sometimes, but why are you trusting your livelihood or basic weekend project (life) to dog crap? Their tools are exact copies of everyone elses tools, but somehow worse quality and that gawdawful color (bull emblem) just makes you look even...
Never forget the obscure battery pack in 14.4v (cartridge in 45GAP) that everyone is too embarrassed to admit to owning. You can trust a noob with it, the variable motors tend to ease them into the power quickly. Trigger is heavy af until you adjust it. Everyone wants to be them.
So, her appendix is perforated, has heavy infection/ inflammation in area. Pain management and antibiotics are focus now, surgery later. Playing it day by day.
She is handling it all well considering the situation. Thank you all for your continued well wishes, power and prayers.
Bauer - Walther: im sick of hearing about them, they are ugly, God hates them, and they suck. They want to be a better company (sig/hk/glock idk) but its the poor in taste and quality milwalkee at the end of the day.
Maybe the ar mutants instead just to stick with the meme tbf.
