Check out Part 10 of my Conan Exiles How-to Playthrough, where we take on the Dregs dungeon, which has been made significantly more difficult during the current Age.
If you think AAA game prices are high now, look at N64 game prices in the 90s. In today's dollars, these $60 games would be $120. Consoles were cheaper though, at $300 in today's dollars.
If you were on death row and could play one last video game after your final meal, what would it be?
For me, it would be Super Mario World for the SNES. My favorite game as a kid and still one of my all-time favorite platformers.
What's your go to video game to chill out with after a stressful day?
I love a good challenge, but sometimes I need to play something simple and familiar. Lately that's been Super Mario World. What's your comfort game?
Raced in my first Grand Prix today in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, the Dragon Cup. Put it on Hard, so it was a close contest. Here I am pulling off a clutch victory on my favorite After Burner themed track.

What cute creature in a video game do you feel bad about attacking or killing, but do it anyway?
For me it's the chickens in A Link to the Past. I literally can't walk past one without attacking it on impulse.
10 out of 10 would slay again! Loaded up DOOM 2016 for the first time today. No easing you into this game. You drop in and the demon slaying fun begins. Music is fantastic.
More slaying:
What is the first game you remember beating as a kid?
Mine is Super Mario Bros for the NES. I played this game with my brother for days on end until we were finally victorious.
Today I played Double Dragon in another 4 quarter challenge. In these I imagine I go into an 80s or 90s arcade with $1 in my pocket to see how far I can get in a game. Here is my clutch boss fight when nearly dead on my last quarter.

What's your favorite classic candy bar?
I don't eat much candy, but I had a Snickers for the first time in a long time and it was fantastic. In my opinion it is the king of candy bars.
It's my cat's 14th birthday today. Look what my poor wife did to him.
I made up for it by giving him some lunchmeat turkey, which he is a total crackhead for.
Started a new series today. I imagine I'm a kid going into an arcade with the one dollar my parents gave me. How far can I get in a classic arcade game with my four quarters? Up first, Rastan (1987).

My StarTropics adventure continues. Why didn't y'all tell me how hard this freaking game is? Kidding. Many warned me. But seriously, skulls with chicken bodies, pitch black rooms and bosses making me jump around like I'm Tigger. Fun though.
Another popular issue. Lots of people recommending I play Star Tropics and letting me know it's currently on Switch Online. Started a game last night. Fun and the first boss is no joke.

I started my YouTube channel 6 weeks ago and have been working on it daily. Only 900 subscribers to go until I can start making that sweet ramen noodle money. 😂
Thanks to any of you who have checked out my channel and subscribed. Or you can do it now!
This tweet is really blowing up. Thanks for playing along. Sorry if I can't respond to everyone, but I am trying to read all responses.
Some of the top choices so far:
Final Fantasy 7
Chrono Trigger
Super Metroid
Metroid Prime
Mass Effect
Bioshock
Red Ded Redemption 2

A friend, and I think I can call him of fan of the channel, bought me DOOM. As a noob YouTuber I can't monetize yet, so it's nice to get a little something. Just like small business owners hang their first dollar earned on the wall, I'm hanging this on my wall. Thanks, my friend.
What is the best decade in video gaming history?
Comment with your reasons why.
My vote is the 1990s. So many iconic consoles and classic games. PC gaming really coming into its own. Birth of advanced online gaming. Amazing time.
This game is so good. Just checked out the demo for upcoming indie game Abathor. A retro-like 2D adventure game. The pixel art, epic music and classic platforming is spot on. It would be right at home in a late 80s arcade.

PC gamers, do you prefer mouse & keyboard or controller for playing a first-person shooter?
I was using mouse & keyboard for everything, but I've recently switched to an Xbox controller for games where it works better. But I don't think I'll ever prefer a controller over mouse
Playing DOOM 2016 is like a shot of adrenaline in the arm. Faced my first Hell Knight today and it did not go well. He killed me like 5 times before I finally took him down.

If you would like me to check out your YouTube channel, comment with one of your favorite videos. I'll RT and add it to my Watch Later playlist. I try to watch a few of my peers' videos every day.
Played some more Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed today. The After Burner themed track was definitely the coolest. Racing around an aircraft carrier with crazy taxi was a blast.

Of course games help you relax and have fun, so they are good for your mood, but has a game every provided true therapy for you?
I was in a severe car accident in 2019 and had PTSD that effected my ability to drive and ride in a car. To help overcome this I played a lot of Forza
What game are you playing after work tonight, when you can finally sit down and chill?
I'm continuing my 4th run of NES Star Wars. Goal is to at least make it onto the Falcon before my continues run out.
We had some time to kill before Dune started. My wife is not a gamer, but she loves The Walking Dead. She's pretty terrible at shooting things but she did okay-ish.
Are you a day one gamer, deep discounter or somewhere in between?
I'm a big-time deep discounter. I can't remember last time I bought a game the year it released. If it's a AAA game probably going to be a few years. Will finally play Sekiro this year, if there's a 50% sale. 😂
Burger Time continued with the wife when we got home. After that we played a little Pac-Man and finished with some co-op Double Dragon.
Retro arcade games, with their simple pick-up-and-play nature, are like party games. Good way to get non-gamers to pick up a controller.
Wow, just got to 2,000 followers! Thanks for the follows. Hope you find my posts entertaining or interesting. Been nice getting to interact with you and see what games you're playing.
If you have a minute, check out my YT (and sub!).
I play retro and
Continued my NES Star Wars run # 5. Got through Hangar 94 in two attempts and asteroids in two, so I made it to Death Star for first time. Have 8 continues left. I hear this level is rough.
Retro video game date night with my wife tonight. She is not a gamer but played Atari and some arcade game as a kid. Dig Dug is one of my favorites, so we played that. She had actually never heard of it, but did pretty well.
Some more retro gaming with my non-gamer wife tonight. We played some co-op Double Dragon. Her first beat 'em up. Once she got the hang of it she did pretty well. She's the one in the red.
Just hit 400 YouTube subs and earlier this week I had my first video pass 2k views. Pretty cool. Thank you to everyone who subs and supports the channel!
Had another retro video game night with the non-gamer wife. First we tried out co-op in the Abathor demo. It took a few tries but we managed to best the Kraken before our continues ran out. Then we played a little Cadash, made it to the Kraken, but were unable to slay him. She
Instead of retro video game night with the non-gamer wife, I introduced her to kart style racing tonight. She did pretty well with tracks that did not include flying. She should never be allowed near the controls of an aircraft. 😂
Well. this tweet blew up. Good to know you all had already thought about your future time on death row and made plans. 😂
The game that got picked the most was Final Fantasy VII. Honorable mentions include Zelda: A Link to the Past, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Red Ded
For our anniversary, my wife gave me 'love coupons' to do things like my laundry or run errands for me, back rubs, etc. There are three fill in the blank coupons, what terrible and degrading thing should I make her do?
Kidding. Kidding.
Please keep responses safe for work. lol
Started my first blind playthrough of Ori and the Will of the Wisps today. Beat Ori 1 last year and loved it, so I'm excited to start this adventure. A big change with Ori 2 is it having multiple boss fights. Here is my encounter with Howl.

In the mood for a chill arcade racer, started a new game of Sonic & All-Stars Racing. My favorite go-cart series after Mario Kart. You race carts, boats and planes as characters from classic Sega games. Very fun.

We all slay on...
Continued my playthrough of DOOM 2016 today. Cranked up the music relative to the sound effects and it's a lot more prominent in the videos now. It is the best part after all.

Hey all. Thanks for all the well wishes. I am feeling better last couple of days. Went to Busch Gardens yesterday for some rollercoaster therapy. Had a blast.
Happy Star Wars Day! May the 4th be with you.
Started the day with an iced coffee in my favorite cup.
I'll be watching the original trilogy, as is my tradition. What will you be watching?
Do you have a video game tattoo? Share or any other cool ink.
I do not have a video game tattoo, although I suppose I could tell people mine is Donkey Kong. 😂
Today I really dug into my YouTube stats for the first time. I've been hesitant because it can be depressing. But what I saw was encouraging. Here some details if you're interested in such things:
My long-form (non-Shorts) views in March were almost 4x what they were in January
Brutal session of Trials Rising today. On this track you are trying to get as far as possible. If you go to slow you will explode. Track is designed to slow you down. I played for two hours trying for gold and this is my best ride.

Many willing to zap their brains to experience their favorite game for the first time again. Love to see it.
Some of the most popular choices for a post mindwipe playthrough:
Final Fantasy 7, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Metroid Prime, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Red Dead
Truly rage-inducing session of Trials Rising today. The third track was particularly rough with inconveniently placed explosive barrels. Played this track for nearly an hour and a half and this is my best ride.
