“Tua doesn’t necessarily like to be coached hard” - Omar
How did Tua make it through the Elite 11 competition as the best QB prospect with Trent Dilfer, play 3 yrs under Nick Saban & be coached by his dad at an early age if didn’t like to be coached hard? 🤔
Mike McDaniel is in the lab right now designing an offensive system where Tua and Jaylen Waddle will thrive in. We’re going to to see Alabama Waddle next season. A lot of YAC and explosive plays.
#FinsUp
So now the new narrative is, “What if Tua didn’t have Tyreek Hill and McDaniel?”
Tua’s a winner. He was 15-8 as the stater before Tyreek Hill and McDaniel got to Miami.
Tua is Him.
Vic Fangio is going look at the
#Dolphins
roster and get real excited about the possibility of working with guys like Javon Holland, Jaelen Phillips, AVG, Wilkins, Davis, Jones and hopefully Howard and Ogbah.
#FinsUp
So wait… now Lamar Jackson is the fav to win MVP??
So if Miami wins at Baltimore would Tua be the favorite??
I’m trying to understand how the media decides who is favorite.
Why are so many people on
#Dolphins
Twitter so negative about the possibilities of making the playoffs? Sure, it’s going to be difficult to win the next 3 games, but my god can people just enjoy the moment!
#FinsUp
Some
#Dolphins
fans are just miserable people. Nothing the team does will ever be good enough. Imagine Miami winning the Super Bowl and then hearing, “well they only won by 3 points”, like... MF are you serious???
As as
#Dolphins
fan I suffered through the 62-7 playoff loss, repeated blow out losses to Jim Kelly and the Bills, the Patriots dominating the division and winning Super Bowls, Ricky William sudden retirement, decades of bad drafts… I just want ONE Super Bowl.
Y’all still want Chris Grier fired, or y’all wanna have a honest conversation about the 2020 & 2021 draft classes?
Tua
Robert Hunt
Brandon Jones
Raekwon Davis
Jalen Waddle
Javon Holland
Jaelen Phillips
Overall some misses and some home runs.
Tua’s biggest and loudest doubters are
#Dolphins
fans. It’s really crazy to see how they can have such a strong opinion about a player when the facts kills every narrative they bring up.
A Tua skeptic said, “what happens when teams takeaway Waddle” as if to say he needs to see how Tua does without Waddle. They rather move the goal post than admit they were wrong about Tua.
The
#Dolphins
acquire Tyreek Hill and everybody got smoke for the fan base. Bills fans, Jets fans, the national media and now Uncle Luke and his cronies. WTF?
If I’m the GM I’m moving on from DeVante Parker, Will Fuller, Albert Wilson and Preston Williams in the off season. I’m resigning Mike Gesicki and building with Jaylen Waddle.
#FinsUp
If Tua goes off tonight against the Patriots defense in Prime Time,
#Dolphins
twitter is going to be extremely disrespectful to all the Tua doubters with no apologies lol
@LeshaPsaint
Why do men care, seriously? It ain’t like men are voluntarily telling women their body count. That is not a conversation I would entertain if was dating someone.
How are you a so called
#Dolphins
fan rooting against Tua because you want him to fail to validate your reasoning for doubting him? If Tua is successful, the
#MiamiDolphins
will be successful. Isn't that what we want as fans?
Tua almost lead the
#Dolphins
to the playoffs and yet dude in my mentions said Tua didn’t live up to the fans and the media’s expectations. He was 6-3 with 11 tds 5 ints and a 87 QB rating. This with no offseason & no preseason. Wait till next season.
#FinsUp
Look at Ryan Tannehill. We killed him when he was here. He goes to Tennessee and is surrounded with talent and look what happens, he's a top 5 QB (QBR) in the NFL. To say Tua won't be better with a better supporting cast around him is Ludacris.
#Dolphins
Soon after the
#Dolphins
signed Will Fuller, Armando immediately took a shot at the signing, what’s the point? Then he writes a article about all the misses in FA and the draft. Did the
#Dolphins
not do anything positive for a team that won 10 games last season, seriously?
The
#Dolphins
defense will regress without Xavien Howard. I don’t think fans realize how much X meant to the defense. His lockdown ability allowed them to do so many things and hide some flaws too.
I remember watching Tua play in the Alabama spring game. He was called a Generational talent back then. Today, some are calling Tua, a “bust” after having major hip surgery and playing only 9 games in the NFL where he went, 6-3, 1,814 YDS 11 TDs 5 INTs 64% Comp 87 QB rating.
Chris Grier set the
#Dolphins
up beautifully to select either Pitts, Chase or Smith. But certain beat writers will tell you that if they miss out on Pitts and or Chase, then it’s a disappointment. How is it a disappointment if they end up with Devonta Smith?
I don’t think
#Dolphins
Nation has ever been this peaceful after the NFL Draft since forever. There isn’t much to complain about, even the National media is praising Miami’s draft.
If DeVante Parker, Will Fuller, Mike Gesicki and Jaylen Waddle can stay healthy... I would put them up against any receiving core in the NFL.
#Dolphins
#FinsUp
Penei Sewell - Safe pick (Think Jake Long)
Ja’ Marr Chase - The pick (Projected)
Kyle Pitts - The sexy pick
Jalen Waddle - Makes the most sense pick
Devonta Smith - The popular pick
#Dolphins
Adam Beasley tried to sell us on Ryan Tannehill for 7 years, but he’s not convinced that Tua is good enough after just 9 games? Beasley said Tua “regressed” at the end of the season. What did Tua have to work with at the end of the season?
#Dolphins
If the
#Dolphins
aren’t rebuilding next season, then what they doing, retooling for a playoff run in 2023? I’m confused by some peoples expectations for next season. Mike McDaniel was not handed a depleted roster like Flores had in 2019.
Calling the fan base “mentally soft” because they support and defend their own is stupid. I get it, the beat writers have a job to do of reporting, why make it personal? And for the record, I don’t give a damn what these clown ass reporters think of the fan base.
Joy Taylor said she didn’t see anything “special” in Tua on the field that she saw in Josh Allen last season.
I don’t ever remember seeing anything “Special” in Josh Allen after 9 games his rookie year.
When Tua is ballin out next season, they’ll say it’s because he got elite weapons... “anybody can put up those numbers when you have those receivers.” lol
With weapons like Waddle, Grant, Fuller, Gesicki, Wilson and DVP, I expect the Dolphins to play an uptempo style offense that will look to score quickly and force teams to play from behind which will play strength to Miami’s defense.
The dislike for Tua in the comments... I firmly believe the dislike for Tua is a direct result of the success he had in college. No other reason. There is no way that anyone who saw Tua play in college objectively believes he’s not good.
Before the draft some in the National media said the
#Dolphins
should consider taking a QB at
#6
, after the draft most are saying Miami had the best draft.
@BeerlyFootball
Tua leads the league in passer rating (112.7), QB rating (78.7) and yards per attempt (9.0). He’s averaging 313 yards per game in the ones he’s finished (2nd to Allen). His touchdown & completion rates are both top 3.
I’d say Tua is a top three QB in the NFL.
Some people on
#Dolphins
twitter were saying last week that they didn't trust Chris Grier because Miami didn't sign their favorite player in FA at the start. Since then, Grier has signed Will Fuller, added depth & robbed 2 NFL franchises of draft picks.
#FinsUp
I can’t believe Dolphins Twitter made yesterday’s playoffs games about Tua & the Dolphins. Y’all can’t even enjoy the playoffs without feeling miserable? Mentally you people are insufferable. Tua is playing golf on vacation & you MFs are suffering watching these games. 🤡
The
#Steelers
are scheduled to interview ESPN commentator Louis Riddick for their vacant GM job, sources say. He last worked in the NFL as the
#Eagles
Director of Pro Personnel in 2013.
What’s wrong with Omar Kelly? This has to be agenda driven, no? Dude sound salty about the Mike McDaniel hire. How do you assume all of this without seeing the finished product on the field?
Why do the
#Dolphins
have to continually come out and say that they’re moving forward with Tua as their Quarterback? It’s really annoying at this point. I get the Tom Brady rumors, but people need to accept the fact that Tua is our starting quarterback.
“What happened to continuity for Tua?” - Armando
The
#Dolphins
promoted Godsey who worked closely with Tua last season. They brought back the entire receiving core while also improving it, and added depth to a young OL. 🤔
