8. I understood that lithium mining and all that mineral extraction for batteries is really impacting our environment. Not sure but the oil extraction and refining are pretty green right? What happens to the used gas, does it end up in the landfill or can it be recycled?

Riddle me this. General Motors says they'll make 400,000 EVs between now and 1st half of 2024. And $50B in revenue from EVs in 2025. So production rate until 2024 is ~267k/year. If they ramp up 50% for 2025, that's 400k cars/year. = $50B would mean a revenue of $125k per EV??

I just realized that although Tesla advertised the 629 km (391 mile) range in its launch, it actually goes an estimated 678 km (421 miles) when you go for the standard 18'' Photon Wheels, instead of the 19'' Nova Wheels.

This fully loaded electric Scania semi truck did 1,600km (994 mi) in two days, spent only 20 minutes extra for charging, and achieved an 1kWh/km efficiency. That'd be 1.61 kWh/mi, and although it isn't over millions of miles, it's beating Tesla Semi's ~1.7kWh on efficiency?

BYD is catching up with Tesla on all-electric sales. Q3 BEV deliveries: Tesla 435,059 BYD 431,603 Everybody and their mom seems to be strictly rooting for only one or the other but almost never both, but I welcome both. We need strong EV companies breaking the old ICE ways.
