And just like that, I took my last call, did my last radio show. Thank you to all of my listeners over the years. Another big thank you for 60 years (that’s right, I said 60 years!) in show business.
Got the call early Sunday morning that my mother had passed. When I was a kid she took me to all of the auditions. Later when things weren’t going well she was always there. She recently called my wife to thank her bc she didn’t worry about me anymore. 97 years is a good run.
Some news to share. I’m taking a temporary medical leave from my radio show. I’ll share more when I know more. I’m still working towards receiving a diagnosis. What I know is, I need time to focus on my health. I love my job and talking to you guys & I’ll be back on the air soon.
Thank you for all of the well wishes. It really means a lot to me that so many of you have reached out. Just wanted to share something my sister posted on Facebook.
Hey everybody. Tomorrow will mark one month since my brain surgery. Just wanted to tell you I’m doing well and feeling great. Also to those from the hydrocephalus community who have reached out, a sincere thank you. xo
Friday will officially be my last day on the radio. Looking forward to retirement in Palm Springs, also keeping a place in our beloved Seattle. Thank you for 12 amazing years on KZOK.
I️ have known, loved, and admired David Cassidy for 48 out of my 58 years. He has been as kind to me as any real brother could ever be. We’ve been through a lot together and he was always there for me. This loss is huge. RIP my dear friend.
My mom was a force. This pic is from around 1994. She drove faster, sang louder, and loved life more than anyone I have ever known. And she kicked ass for 97 years. Happy Mother’s Day to all the great moms out there.

Danny Bonaduce is really ill, despite whatever he’s done he had a real messed up childhood and is really sick now. Probably the kindest thing is to just let him be.
Peter Tork and I were often compared as the two great tv bassists. The big difference, Peter could really play. And play many instruments. He was an underrated musical genius and will be sorely missed.

Great news 📣 🎉 I’ll be back live on the radio this Monday. Can’t wait. My brain is still a little fuzzy but that’s never stopped me — or the people who hire me.
Check it out. I’m walking down the street in Portland, Oregon minding my own business. And what do I see? A Partridge Family lunch box with my picture on it. Damn, I’m famous.
A lot of people have tweeted me that the Partridge Family house on the Columbia Ranch has been razed. It’s the end of an era. I was lucky that I got to see it for the last time before lockdown in early 2020. Here are some pics.
Had a CT scan and shunt check with Dr. Michael Williams in Seattle before heading back to Palm Springs. If anyone ever wondered if I had a brain, here’s proof!
In 20 minutes, I will give my very first guitar recital in front of people. I just found out most of the other students performing today are under 12 years old. That's right. I'm the grown-up. Riddled with fear and panic. Wish me luck.
My sister has a touch of the cancer. Enough to make all of her hair fall out.
@CeliaBonaduce
has always been there for me. So, tomorrow morning at 9am, live on my radio show, I will shave my head in solidarity for my sister who I love very much. ✊🏼
This is my daughter yesterday on her wedding day. She married a wonderful young man and she looked beautiful. But only one of us is a natural redhead. Congrats to Isabella and her husband Simon. 👰 🤵 🍰
Dinner and a show. Notice a theme here, the show was SITCOM at Palm Springs Underground — both the Partridge Family and the Mary Tyler Moore Show were featured.
This is the first April 12 in many, many years that I won't be sending my friend David Cassidy a birthday card. I always loved it when he called because he began every phone call with him singing. Miss you, buddy. RIP.
10 years ago today Amy & I were married in Hawaii. We had planned to be there again this week but we are happy to celebrate at home. Stay safe everyone. ❤️
1959 was a fine year if I don’t say so myself. 😊 Amy & I got a few days away in Santa Monica and had the chance to have dinner at Chez Jay, legendary celeb dive spot. No cameras allowed inside, a rule upheld since the JFK/Marilyn days.
A&E's documentary of David Cassidy is on this evening. If you loved David like I did, it could be hard to watch. I cherished the opportunity to tell the world how awesome he was just one more time.
Has anyone been to the
@OriginalFunko
HQ in Everett, WA? I came home with a dozen awesome Funko Pops and even a Black Panther backpack. Pretty sure my inner nerd exploded today. 🤓
I pulled up to a parking space on a busy street. I had to parallel park. The people in a restaurant could see my epic fail. I was so embarrassed that I took off, switched drivers with my wife, and she got it in one. I’ll never hear the end of this. 😳
Kenny Rogers & the Rogers family, of which there are many, took me on a camping trip, all of us on horseback when I was 13. We told stories, shot guns. That man was country to the bone. He will be missed.

Eddie Money once gave me the best advice I had in show business. I told him I was pretty sick to my stomach and looked me and said, “Go on anyway.” A true professional, true rockstar, and true friend.

After my surgery in June, I did lots of PT. Now, 7 months later I walk 3 miles a day, sometimes more, and am pretty much back to my old self. Hang in there, it keeps getting better.
@TheDoochMan
_ _ I had the same surgery you did in December. So you are 6 months ahead of me. I improved greatly but still need to go forward. Does it keep getting better? Are you 100% now? Did you do PT?
One of us looks just like Danny Partridge. The other looks like Danny Partridge’s grandfather. I had a great time filming
@TheKidsABC
. If wonder how kid actors turn out, keep your eye on this guy - he’s terrific.

Outside the Music Box Theatre in NYC where I saw David & Shaun Cassidy in Blood Brothers. Amazing. Today it’s been one year since David left us. We all miss him.
