Got home @ 9pm to find my wee lass (special needs) made my bed. Took her ages. Went to get in to find she’d taken all the linen straight out of the washing machine & put it straight onto the bed, still soaking wet. She thought the electric blanket would dry it. I love her. 😂

I’ve been putting off posting this, but apparently the dr that told me it was unlikely I had cancer was wrong. I have a 16mm tumour, that has spread to a lymph node beside it, stage 2, but the consultant is very optimistic that it can be surgically removed. Next bit is amazing!

I can’t talk to anyone in RL because I don’t want to burden them until I get all the results, but I had a chest & pelvic X-ray yesterday & the dr has just phoned me with the results of the chest (pelvis results not through yet). They’ve found something on my lungs. Terrified.

Not the best news. I have a rare form of lung cancer. Carcinoid. The ‘cyst’ they found near the bronchial tube was an infected lymph node with fluid in it, while the tumour is at the bottom of my lung. Need a further scan as the pet scan may have missed some infected lymph nodes.

Got my chest drain removed on Tuesday and for the first time since 28th feb, I’m lying down in bed!! Granted with a wedge pillow behind me to keep me half on back & half on side iykwim, pillow between knees & pillow under right arm to keep it off my op sites. Bliss! Wish me luck!

Good evening all. Had bronchoscopy today. They decided to do a biopsy at the same time, so that was great as it’s normally a 6 wk wait. They found a cist too. Harmless. My lung is being a brat! Consultant is very positive. Back again on Tues. Your support is greatly appreciated.

@RadfemBeat My regular taxi driver is terfing all over the place. The poor man is going to need counselling, as he has to listen to me for 45 mins, three times a week. He has two very young daughters and is seriously peaked. The good men don’t just get it, they’re bloody furious about it.

Sorry if that was a whole ramble. Told my kids and they’re shocked but dealing with it well. My lad in England is in a terrible state. It’s always worse when you’re not able to be in physical contact with the person when told bad news.

@DreyfusJames I can’t find a single poppy in my area. Pets at home are selling some for animals to wear and apparently they were selling cute collars too, but none for humans. The young man did say they were selling out amazingly quickly, so it looks like people are quietly fighting back.
