But our oldest surviving documents are from the 7th century. English began around 1150 to 1200 AD. So Welsh used Latin script 600 years before English.

In learning French, Spanish, Dutch and Romanian... I find the Welsh Language's closeness to the land in placenames is nothing less than extraordinary. It's not found in English, or any language other than Welsh which ive yet come across.

Im saying now, if #plaidcymru runs council, and if Im on it, I will look at reopening a single stretch of #Cardiff 's canals as a beginning, so the future may create a #WelshAmsterdam if it chooses. @MatthewRHarvey1 @EsylltMeurig @PlaidCFWest @RhunapIorwerth @MathGW @MarchGlas

No wonder Culture Critic grows so fast. Modernity and social liberalism's extremes have utterly failed us. Our culture starves for beauty and traditional western knowledge.

Wales exists in a state of irony. For 100 years Wales has voted for a party which if left to its devices, will destroy the very idea that a Wales exists. Labour has now voted to harm our #Senedd , allowing London to erode it power. #Wales can do better, join #plaidcymru .

@UKLabour Labour has shown true change, away from Jew-hate, Marxism and anti-Western fringe groups. I am happier.

After learning/having deep contact with 15 languages... Im convinced the act of learning language (or music) is the single healthiest thing for the physical human mind. We need to give every child in #Wales the health benefits of total immersion in #Cymraeg . #NHS

@WilliamClouston This pro-Palestinian alliance of Marxists & Jihadists would turn Britain into a 1970s Lebanon with the traditional cultural majority caught between a civil war of emerging, rival extremists.

@PeterGrantMP @jessphillips English children cannot even say a few basic phrases in Welsh and Gaelic when they leave school. If you want to keep the UK together, it's basic stuff like this. Show us you care about us as nations, not regions.
