A random thought, but I loved how janky Bruce was when it came to grappling around and doing the theatrical. The wobbles, the crashes, the unsteady landings. It felt right for an early Batman to still be finding his footing with that stuff, even if he had the balls to attempt it.

Everyone knows Anna Diop’s Starfire isn’t strictly comic accurate. Her backstory and lore is very different to the comics. HOWEVER, the characterisation itself is comic accurate. Anna’s Kory, in personality and presence, captures the essence of Starfire through and through.

To clear up any confusion, the Doom Patrol we see are the #DCTitans versions. That’s why Larry and Cliff know Gar (e.g. the handshake which they also did in 1x04). We’re to assume Vic joined the Doom Patrol after Gar left which is why he knows Beast Boy, but only by name.

I love #DCTitans but, regrettably, this has to be said… I don’t think the show understands the weight death should have. It should make one feel, not stare blankly or roll their eyes. It should affect characters in a way that changes them, and I never truly felt that impact.

For me, revealing Jason’s identity sooner rather that later was a good choice. Perhaps 2 was a little too soon, but if they waited until, say, episode 5, 6 or later, the Titans would be meandering over who Red Hood is when we, the audience, already know. (1/2)

I do really like how Dick is still shown to be ahead of Jason as a fighter, and that Jason can only properly best him through dirty tactics or planning ahead of time. Dick was winning that fight until the flash-bang move.

This scene is heartbreaking. I think what I like most is how much the reminder of Mar’i affects Dick emotionally. He’s literally choked up and on the verge of breaking down. That’s a level of vulnerability we don’t see too often. #DCTitans

Titans did the incredibly bold thing of making Dick Grayson, one of the most trusted figures in the DC universe, an isolated, broken individual. Seeing him grow into this great leader, mentor and father figure (granted, with a few growing pains along the way) has been wonderful.
